- Keith Thurman took on Mario Barrios in the main event of their pay-per-view fight that took place on February 5th at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Thurman asserted his dominance from the beginning of the fight, despite not scoring a knockdown. Thurman won by unanimous-decision and improved his record to 30-1.

Thurman hits hard. You can see in barrios face after every punch he looks dazed.
Keith couldn't knock out a 140 pounder in barrios moving up to 147. Tank knocked him down twice moving up from 135. So is tank really that powerful or keith doesn't have that much power ?

That was brutal... By one time. You don't always need a knock out to show dominance.
Ironically, he hasn´t had a stoppage W since 2015. And if being more specific, he hasn´t KO´d anyone since 2013, as both Diaz and Collazo(the last two Thurman stopped) were fights that got stopped between rounds.
I always found his nickname One Time funny. Yea, there was once a time when he KO´d guys. It was a long time ago.

Keith actually throws hands which is rare to see I'm boxing. Like people try to get that one good hit or they throw a flurry of hits but Keith in this fight showed 2-4 good every 30 second which is amazing.

porter is a smaller dude but he's made out of granite. thurman was tagging him and doing damage long term, but no individual shot was really hurting porter all that much. i really love both of them and that fight is one of my favorites even now

Not sure about the rest of you but KEITH THRUMAN has never lost anything... we're so used to jumping off the band wagon but he's still a DOG and one of the best in the welterweight division... I'd like to say, BARRIOS is a true warrior and I feel his team needs to regain control over his oppents for the next few fights so he can rebuild and prepare for his next wave of big fights.. He's losing fights and that can damage his confidence... They need to do this while he's still young ....

A few years ago, when asked" who would be his toughest opponent", Errol Spence replied: "Probably Keith Thurman" I`m a huge Spence fan, but Keith poses a lot of problems for people. He is technically sound, has power and gets through with his looping punches. That being said, Spence was chasing him for some time, but was shutout much like Ennis and others are shut out by Spence´s camp in present day.
The real boxin fans know bout one time. Bunch a casuals floods the net after manny beat him an tanished his brand. Keith has always been dangerous. He was heavily ducked 8-9 years ago by all the top tier fighters.

Kieth Thurman is a really good fighter and most of his fights are entertaining but he really has trouble with body shots. Seems like every fight he’s in he gets hurt to the body at least once. Never seen him get dropped from one tho. He always powers through it. Definitely has heart but it’s still dangerous not being able to take body shots well. And this was from a guy moving up in weight that isn’t really a heavy handed fighter at 140 let alone 147
