I was at a ski show at this very spot in Minocqua,WI just yesterday. They have since replaced this boat with a black one with dual 250 e-tecs. Thing tows like 9 skiers easily and wheelies even higher. Completely outrageous to witness in person too.
Reading most of the comments just reminded me of how little most people know about boats. P.S. The second tailwalk was beyond awesome where it lands on plane and then takes a second lunge up out of the water. Twin and triple rigged Dynes are and will forever be the last word in raw ski boat performance.
WOW...Just when I thought Ive seen it all...THATS simply awesome !!!! I ride mc's and have seen just about everything that can be done on them in person, and this is just the coolest thing I think Ive ever seen! LMAO...
This is a relatively easy trick to do as long as you don't use too much throttle. These boats are just 24' fiberglass hulls with a fuel tank in the bow, a steering wheel 2 seats and 300 HP on the back. It doesn't take a whole lot to lift the bow up like that. And they are VERY fast. Our boat will do 61 with it's twin E-Tec 150's and just the driver in the boat.
lol, that's one valid point. another valid point would be that it's an E-Tec powered boat, and all E-Tec's are 2 strokes, annnnnnd 2 strokes don have oil in them, making it impossible to get "water in the oil" because there's no oil for the water to get into LOL
Just keep those motors running no matter what....Those cowlings aren't always completely sealed and you will get some water in them. In that case you don't want to let the motors stall, because when water gets in the inner workings of the engine it will destroy the engine long term.....Nice video.
I used to do that with a full planning cat in Silver Lake Indiana. I could get that Cat to do 360's and slam the bow down.Someone on the lake called my boss and told on me. He just laughed !
To all the dumbasses that say they are going to destroy the transom, or wreck the motors, I ski with the Hodag ski team in Rhinelander about an hour south of these guys. We have a boat that is identical to this one. Same model, same year, same engines. If their's is built the same as ours, which I'm pretty damn sure it is, it has a 2" thick wood/fiberglass transom with 1/2" steel plate on both the front and back. That transom is NOT going to rip out from doing this trick.
The engine is supposed to suck water up to cool itself off. That's why you see water spraying from under the engine housing on all water cooled outboards.
Funs fun, but how many brewskis required to do that shit all day & into night for anything that can fog a mirror. Oh wait, there’s an old lady, gotta fugn wheeeeelie up y’all
Also, the motors are not under water when you do this trick. The forward motion of the boat creates a pocket in the water behind the boat, which keeps the motors out of the water. I will agree that he had the motors trimmed a little high though. Not good to have them rev that high before the props catch the water.
It appears most people on here, have some issues........ But i guess they dont realise this is a trick for a boating show ! Iguess they have problems with bi-planes doing loop to loops also, Must be bad for those wings HA HA HA. Kep up the good work Guys. AWESOME. :)
The backboard must be reinforced big time ? Very impressive I must say. That boat must be a handful at high speed as at 0:30 it just launches !! Very well done and good control. Kids, don't try this with Dad's boat!.
Does the driver have a good handle to hang on to? If he happens to fall out of his chair while it's up in the air...that could seriously hurt the operator.

The energy of everyone that has seen this video screaming "TRIM IT" could power the planet for years to come.

One of the best camera work ever 10/10
His boat his motors, why are people hating on this? This is honestly awesome and very ballsy!
this might be one of the coolest things I have ever seen.
I've been to one of the Min-Aqua-Bats shows and they rock!!!
Wheelies? I'd call it a boat doing a KEEL-lie!
Super sik video dudes!!!!!!! Love e-tecs! Thanks for sharing.
chuck norris would be smileing if he saw this
WOW...Just when I thought Ive seen it all...THATS simply awesome !!!! I ride mc's and have seen just about everything that can be done on them in person, and this is just the coolest thing I think Ive ever seen! LMAO...
Mark Ritter You have got some skill
Min-Aqua Bats yeah!!! I live just up at Ballard lake and love to head to Minocqua to get some taffy and watch the ski show!
you are my hero !!!! this is mental
@Simenbjo How so ? They are out of the water they are being kept dry. So unless the boat stalls and slides back it won't hurt a thing.

do you do anything with the boat but wheelies?
its rather nice
not gonna lie that's pretty badass
awesome. how is this bad for the motors there not underwater. Love the way those etecs sounds.
Pretty neat, how many props did you spin learning it? not many I hope. it's cool.
Marc is a Beast at the wheel, turns zum zum whut!!!!

I think a boat wheelie should be called a proppie.
Cool video.
Cool, it's cool when you work out new things with normal stuf, like when my mate and I realised you could move fog around with our torch

I have a 9.9. If I get a 15hp carb installed in it, can I do this in my 14' aluminum tiller boat?
you should put they song, "Everyday im hustlin hustlin everyday im hustlin hustlin!"
Awesome. You should do that every time you leave a no wake zone!
how does one without wheels wheelie?
So did he ever roll it?
"Because I love love love love love love poppin' a wheelie!"
Love this vid. I have it favorited! It's awesome! Congrats to a good driver!

yeh when do we get to see it flip over?
Snazzy! This is purty dang cool I must say!!

OOOOOHHHH...... Man, listen to those engines:-)
Cool. Big motors, light weight boat.
@plokoonfa What kinda boat do you live on? I lived on a boat and cruised to mexico.
Thats a good way of drainin the water from the boat when you forget the plug
looks like fun to me! don't be a hater just because you dont like fun.
Funs fun, but how many brewskis required to do that shit all day & into night for anything that can fog a mirror. Oh wait, there’s an old lady, gotta fugn wheeeeelie up y’all
two stroke or four stroke ? evinrude the best motors
How impressive! Can this be done with a jet boat?

@mritter2004 how long is this boat?? and what kind is it??
all day, all night.. that guy really found his "thing". You can see that the people around him don't even care anymore :)
How does a boat do a wheelie when it has no wheels?
It appears most people on here, have some issues........ But i guess they dont realise this

This kid has never saw the sun before.
@Stunnedstudios How so ?
Awesome! Ide love to see it all out planing
I can cram a Community Our boat here with a 15HP. just call the defendant, rotation and crazy ... not safe to break!
It was the perfect boat for you.
But Will It Blend ?
cool use of the power trim
daaaaang man, sounds really gay.but the sound of those etec-s are so fucking awesome,i d love to have car which sounds like them
From when did boats have wheels? :D
are those engines submarines ?
The backboard must be reinforced big time ?
Very impressive I must say.
That boat must be a handful at high speed as at 0:30 it just launches !!
Very well done and good control.
Kids, don't try this with Dad's boat!.
@plokoonfa why is it so bad? because of water damage?
i wonder how much water those motors stucked in
What's wrong with E Techs? Care o share your experience?
i hope the transom is reinforced!!!!
looks fun though
@Stunnedstudios It was made for it. It's a trick boat.
how'd he do it?
how did u do that
Bad ass Evinrude's!!
Prop stand would be the correct turm but they are very fun to do!
+Jacob Waters Term would be the correct spelling but spelling incorrect is fun to do......thats how you sound
its amazing those engines dont get waterlogged
pretty sure u needed new water pumps after that?
What lake is this? Looks like Lake McQueeny
pretty damn cool. Didnt think a boat could do that...
i found the engine scream like aventador in the tunnel
Why? What's wrong with them?
If I had the money, I'd buy a boat just so I could do this :D
would that flood the motor?
Grantastic yes and it will mess up the transition
it's great that guys on the pier coiling lines (1:06) are just not interested! great trick tho man
to people who dont know how he did it the motors were raised way up
been doing this for years
Awesome....I guess you just keep doing it until you flip over....never thought this was possible.
Love the sound of it
is that the only thing he can get up?
Thats got to be a wild ride!!!
The engines sound fast...
I'd like to see it planed out sometime.
DANG MAN DANG, INTO THE SUN WE GO
Is the cameraman J-roc or something?
I wanna try this now!!
how much horsepower
I don't want to criticize but since when do boats have wheels? without wheels how do you do "wheelies"?!
but can it fly?
Lmao, holly shit u win for the new word n trick label
those engines look like they come so close to drowning but somehow don't.
*when your dad left you with two F1 engines and a boat*
Does the driver have a good handle to hang on to? If he happens to fall out of his chair while it's up in the air...that could seriously hurt the operator.
a bit more power that really needed for that tiny boat.
thats suck a great lake too, go up every other year to squaw lake outside of minaqua
you sounded like joe dirt when you said dang man dang
What that guy says during 'intimate relations': "Dang mang Dang. Into the butt we go. Turn the songs up."
Wow,thats pretty impressive...
wouldnt it ruin the engines?
