Replacing a bad ISA slot

My favorite 286 motherboard has a bad ISA slot that has burned me already. (Figuratively, I thought the computer wasn't working when I inserted a video card into the bad slot.)
So it's time for me to try changing out an ISA slot and see how hard this really is!
