      The only reason I can come up with is that it conflicts with how they hunt. Zombies are attracted to sound and the night is full of sound. Technically, the zeds should just be crawling around on the ground looking for crickets, yet they ignore that to seek out human flesh. If human flesh is what they are seeking then they should be bypassing critters and bugs.

    No need for heat, there were low as well as high points in the OG film. It also had some things that later fans would say aren't canon to the monsters but were right there on the screen, from tool use, moving faster than a shamble, and fear of fire (realization or memory that fire is bad).

    • @TheNotverysocial
      @TheNotverysocial 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      1.This is a Cinemasins ripoff or parody as the disclaimer says. They are notorious for making issues from non issues to raise the sin count and are less generous than this in regards to deductions.
      2. I second this comment. I never understood the tendency roast this film for retroactively breaking rules that were never established yet. If we suspended enough disbelief that this could happen but still kept enough logic to be believable they wouldn't be very much of a threat with only their jaws alone. The human jaw is notoriously weak and is useless for tearing living tissue apart. They'd be more dangerous if portrayed this way wielding hand tools as murder weapons as that increases their range ever so slightly and it would take longer to deduce they are eating their victims as it did in this film. There's no way it would take that long if they bit them every time by default.
      3. Both versions of Night of the Living Dead function in a setting where any victory against the Living Dead is momentary. In either continuity they are radioactive as is the entire world around them, so everyone's been exposed already. Everyone's going to turn sooner or later; they have only to die. This actually makes the apocalyptic zombie more plausible than virally infected ones unless it's like The Last Man on Earth where the wind carries it.

    I always thought that the original 1968 movie was the most realistic zombie movie (I know that none are realistic because there is no such thing as zombies, but anyway..) for the way that society reacted. In a zombie apocalypse, there would first be hysterical panic, but once the experts had it figured out, they would put out guidance as they did in the movie. Also, the police, National Guard, etc would be out in force to wipe out the ghouls. What is illogical is that there would be so many ghouls so quickly.

    Having a fuel pump by the house: Maybe it's a farm. If so, having a fuel tank makes sense. Gotta run those tractors + combines + such on something.

    I'm pretty sure the reason why slow Romero zombies take over is because as said previously anyone who's died comes back as long as the brains intact. People die all over the world on a daily basis, so at that point there would be a lot of these shambling corpses running around, not to mention the fact that since a cure is never discovered that means that humanity as a whole are doomed to this fate regardless of the precautions we take. Like just imagine you're visiting your dying relative only for them to come back and bite you and the entire hospital being overrun by ghouls.

      It's pretty self evident he knowingly ignored the in film newscast, as they explicitly state the whole world is heavily irradiated and the brains of all humans that passed since have reactivated ever since, whether they found a link or not. He did state he didn't like this concept in TWD, and pretends it's not the case here. Which would be fine by me if he hadn't lied about the ones here being viral.

    7:44 to be fair, the way she fell is probably why she didn't move. It looks like she hit her neck/spine on the concrete steps and she probably temporarily/permanently paralyzed herself, just a theory though
    Also, at 8:42 the Dad was bitten, his arm was gone in the scene before the mom died and it's possible the mom was also bit after she was stabbed

      These Cinema Sins inspired videos are largely trolling. He mentioned radiation off the returned satellite passively and intentionally did not mention the newscast that mentioned it. Most of these zombies died before any of them even began reviving, and that's still the case with them around.

    Barbra survives, according to the unofficial sequel, Night of the Living Dead: Genesis. There are some trailers and the original actress comes back as Barbra in a mental institution and she's either in her 60s or 70s in the movie. There's even flashback scenes that show Barbra all bitten and walking down a road, almost catatonic.

    With all the imperfections that Night Of The Living Dead has, it's still the most creepy, scariest, frightful zombie movies of all time. I've had many people say that they believe that the 1990 remake was far better than the original. The budget was extremely low and they had little cash for huge special effects or well known actors with the exception of a few people being in local Pittsburgh commercials.

    • @TheNotverysocial
      @TheNotverysocial 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Imperfection or not, taking place in a heavily irradiated world is not a sin. And willfully ignoring that is a way to pad the counter out. Several of these could be deducted just by leaving the news clips in. This would itself deduct the sin on reviving the Coopers and the half eaten woman indicating there shouldn't be any zombies because they eat their victims. It should be a sin against the 2004 film.
