As an Oakland native I can 100% confirm that a large grunting man just walking up to you in the middle of the night at Lake Merritt is commonplace. You really can't blame them for not realizing it was a zombie in that scene.

since the stuff they gave him regenerates cells, when the zombie brother guy bit the coroner's they got the regenerative cells and took wayy longer to die. I feel like maybe that explains why it took so long.

As a person that is born in and raised in Oakland i can say Lake Merritt at night is pretty populated because its close to Piedmont (the rich white Neighborhood) and Downtown and by that time cops would have been called by then also them zombies do move fast as fuck they moving from the East to Lake Merritt in a single night without someone calling the cops or shooting the zombies themselves.

A fun video, great job for the work! I think I noticed a small issue, when you said you'd remove a sin after the explanation to why the first zombie was so strong (the double syringe dose), you end up adding a sin instead of subtracting it.
The soundtrack for the piano chords reminds me so much of the special infected queues from L4D

I actually liked this movie when I saw it, much better than other low budget zombie movies like silent night zombie night

I actually think “That’s it? Did we get them all?” Would be a decent way to end a zombie movie, as you don’t really know. They might have, they might have not. If not, there’s always room for a sequel to continue the deaths.
