I still remember when I saw him perform goodnight sweetheart I was blown away by his condition and for the other fact that when he was in Odyssey Fun World by 2013 only his jaw and head tilt right plus body tilt left-right were working. want seeing him all of a sudden like them blew me away. keep up the great work!!!!!!!!
The New Rockafire Explosion was the band I grew up with at Odyssey Fun World and it’s so good seeing you save something that was so very special to me. Amazing work! Can’t wait to see him progress and get cosmetics. 🖤🖤🖤
Very cool! It's so different from the other Rock-afire characters, it's almost like it's from a different era. I was wondering how the forearm rotation was done? It looks like it's some kind of rotating cilinder?
Yep the forearm and the head uses rotary cylinders and these are the newer version of rockafire explosion where they never sold much before slowing down production at CEI.
@@connorleschinsky I didn't know there was a 2nd generation (apart from the one Aaron is still working on). Are the plastic parts milled or cast/injection molded? It also explains the servos for the eyes (I thought you'd added them yourself). All in all, this looks a lot more refined and moves more naturally!
@@ltdeditions yeah... things got really tough because CEC wanted to keep using the characters and take the rights to them and cut their creator entirely out of it, after cec and the reskinning they didn’t have much of a chance to expand past that especially with layoffs :( the creator had to choose to leave and keep his rights or have his characters and life work kept by cec

after FNAF:SB came out, my interest in animatronics was rekindled once again, only this time I'm not 10 years old anymore and have the idea to actually start researching them. So, for an entire day, all I did was go down a long youtube rabbithole of learning about animatronics, the way they work, their history, ect ect ect and during that search I discovered your channel. I just can't stop watching and rewatching your videos, they fascinate me. I wasn't alive for the era of animatronics, and I didn't get to live in the country where the last chuck e cheeses stood. At the start of the day, I didn't even know the names of any major title animatronics other than Chuck-e himself, now I'm emotionally attached to all of them, and that's after only a DAY of hyperfixating. I can't imagine your passion for these robots, it's astounding.

@@numberonesnarkfan Everything you can tell me about how they work. I heard some use servo motors to move components and some pneumatic stuff. I know what servo motors are and how they work but i don't think every component is working with them. I mean there are always those cables with air.
I unfortunately don't know that much about how they work other than the basics. I've never put one together myself or had the privilege of even seeing one firsthand. Honestly I recommend just looking through a bunch of the videos of this channel because the creator makes some videos detailing how they work.

Some air leaks from both of beach bears full up in both arm raises. I hear some small air leaks else where on this danceatronic beach bear. Other wise not to bad at all with all his danceatronic movements work. Minus air leaks. Lol. Good luck on selling both versions of beach bear on e-bay. I love this song by beach bear. I'm more partial to the classic three stage Rock-Afire Explosion beach bear version. I wonder how the classic beach bear blonde wig would look on danceatronic beach bear.😁🙂😁

Beach Bear and looney bird share same stage where Rolfe and Earl would be with more classic three stage show. And dook is on stage where Bill Bob and looney bird would be with more classic three stage Rock-Afire Explosion show. On center none classic three stage show it's Fatz Mitzi and Billy Bob. And both side stages rotate. For the none classic left stage there's a tv screen that shows on other side of dooks junk yard theme. There two theme looks for both rotating side stage shows. I like beach bears side when it shows his palm tree beach look more and looney bird has a small window he looks out of. And then when right stage rotates. Looney bird has his studio desk them with small screen tv monitor. 😁. That style of the three stage none classic Rock-Afire Explosion stage show is very unique. Even though I've only seen videos and pics of it. For center stage there's two various backgrounds for none classic style Rock-Afire Explosion center stage show. In my opinion mitzis outfit makes her look not kosher at all. I would make mitzis danceatronic outfit more like a black sequin top with no sleeves. Add purple hologram fabric up the lower part of arm sleeves. And have purple holgram fabric triple layer skirt. Add purple holgram fabric around whole neck area. Have purple hologram fabric carnation flower on either left or right side of Mitzi's black sequins sleeves top. And put some purple hologram two layer fabric pieces over top of arm opening. Give it that affect like with triple layer purple holgram skirt. For on none classic three stage style Rock-Afire Explosion danceatronic of her. I don't care for Billy Bobs white shirt with redish orange polka dots on it. I would have that inner white shirt with redish orange polka dots removed from danceatronic Billy Bob character. I would add on dance atronic Fatz. Like what's on classic three stage Fatz the inner white three lace shirt. That makes Fatz look even more dashing. I love fatz's gold jacket. I love three stage classic dooks outter space flashy grey outterspace outfit with the black hatwith white antennas. Black boots and gloves. With outer top of his black boots, gloves and hat outlined in bright golden yellow color.
Idk if it's just me, but it looks like the movements on this bot were done by a combo of servos and pneumatics. That is insanely fascinating if that's the case!
I'm glad I found this video! So I've just recently as of today wanted to 3d cad a mijjin animatronic mech to obviously 3d print into a functional thing. Only problem is I can't find any references except for rockafire replay and even then I want a more detailed explanation rather than doing on my own. Because you have a much could you give me a detailed images and diagrams stuff like that to help with this project because not a lot of info is on these animatronics. Please and thank you this would help a lot
Most of these were self-taught and learning through trial and errors, went to college for mechanical engineering degree to expand knowledge deeper. You can achieve these from college, trade-schools, or even just browsing through youtube and trying it yourself.
