Ladies and Gentlemen, Mark Goffeney.
I recorded this in Balboa Park, San Diego in the Summer of 2003. Until today, (Jun 24, 2006), I had no idea who this man was, but I always enjoyed his talent. While uploading this video, I came across a website about Mark Goffeney. This guy is an inspiration and helluva good guitarist/singer.

People just walk past this talent! Like I'd be fucking amazed seeing this in person!
I just saw him today in front of the national history museum in San Diego it was great.
This guy should have a guitar case full of tips!
If music is a part of your life, you wont stop playing no matter what... This guy is a true hero, he is doing something that he loves, even though he has no hands! God bless this guy, I wish there were more people like him!

Mark came out to Yuma, Az to play a veteran's benefit earlier this year, my band was also playing. We invited him to sit in with us at the club we were playing at later that night, I let him borrow my bass, and I have to say Mark has more talent in his feet than I have in my entire body. When he started playing "Sweet Emotion" by Aerosmith, I think the entire place came to a screetching halt in awe of what he could do with his toes.

Guy with no hands is happy playing with his guitar while other normal people commits suicide because their loved ones cheated on them.
I was out riding my bike in Balboa Park yesterday and came across this guy playing incredibly well by any standard. Unbelievable. Clapton, Hendrix ... all kinds of stuff. He's amazing!
this goes to show that nothing will stop a true musician from making music.

that is the most inspiring thing i've ever seen. the fact that he's lost both his arms still dosent let him end his passion for music. that is truly amazing.

This guy is great! I live in San Diego and I've seen him numerous times and sadly he does not have any arms but, he always was happy when I walked past him and I've never seen him frown.

favorite guy ever.
he is amazing.... not just the guitar, too - the vocal is very good too.
but he's playing in a public place. Calling people 'snobs' for not stopping isn't very fair - they are just going about their business, as is the guitarist. You can't expect everyone to appreciate talent when they see it.
