The trunk does automatically close. Just have to hold the trunk release in the up position.

That car is f’in SICK! About six weeks ago we were at BMW Dealership out here in CA. They had one of these in the Showroom. No mark ups, although with the $6K in add on’s the price was $94K

Your trunk can automatically close. You have to hold that button in the up position for 2-3 seconds. Don’t let go even when you hear the beep.
Another party trick is pressing the unlock button twice and on the second press, holding the unlock button down. All your windows will go down. 😊

Press the right paddle and left paddle simultaneously and it will shift back to S mode. You don’t have to touch the gear lever to switch it to S mode

Will, thanks man. How are you ? I have a question for you: I just took delivery of my 2024 bmw m3 competition xdrive. The car has now 50 miles on it, I don’t see the 10 stages M traction control on the menu, neither the track mode. Does that come up after the break in service ? I need to know if I have to call technical support.
Oh man I hope that they did not tell you that the car had it if it didn’t. It’s actually an option from the factory that the car has to be specced with. My last m4 comp did not have it. Not sure if it can somehow be added after the build.

To close the trunk from the inside of the car, you need to pull the trunk button and hold it for about 5 seconds. Bam, trunk lowers.

I own a 2023 M4 Xdrive and having the physical climate control buttons makes life so much easier. The 2024 setup is just too complicated for such a simple task. Nice car though love it!

I honestly thought I wouldn't like the lack of physical climate control buttons in the 2024 models but I haven't adjusted the climate controls even once after the first day I picked up my 5 series about a month ago. Pretty happy with the setup so far, I just hop in and go.

@@dadamafia Gotta agree with this. The automatic climate controls work REALLY well, and if i ever need to change anything, it's usually just the temp a couple degrees in either direction

@@ylli9028leaving my house and 1 minute away. Had to turn left at a light and someone was stopped on the road. I sped up to hit the left and the m4 just started drifting on me. I didnt have much time to react, and it was a windy road so I ended up going over a curb. Bumper damaged, driver side skirt damaged, front and back driver tires and rims damaged. My girl and I are alright, thank God I didnt hit any other car. Airbags didnt deploy and the engine wasnt damaged, just cosmetic stuff. To make it even crazier, it happened on Christmas day and I got this car as a gift to myself for Christmas 2 weeks prior.
Its at the BMW shop now, insurance gotta pay 22k to get it fixed. Prob going to take a month or more to get all the parts delivered and installed.
So now I know... keep traction control on or these M4s think you want to drift.

Thinking about buying one next week, but the exterior design has been the same for a few years now. Afraid the 2025 design will make the 2024 look old.
Get it, its so much fun. But like he said keep traction control on because it doesnt take much for these m4s to want to drift. Learn from my lesson
