I’m really stuck. The one song that I love performing more than anything isn’t necessarily overdone but it’s Sondheim.

Hey, thanks for all this advice! Is no one else from the great comet overdone / a good choice? Doesn’t seem to be but just wanted to check!!

It is very much overdone. I have held auditions for a show and literally five people out of 25 people sang it

Hello! Thanks for the video. I’m thinking of auditioning for musical theatre courses next year and I was wondering whether I love play rehearsal from be more chill would be a good song choice? One of the place I want to audition at also asks for a golden age musical song and the only one I really vibe with is my right. Is that too much of a jump? I’ll be 22 by the time I audition if things go well

Hello! I don’t think it’s one of the most overdone songs, it was on in London just before lockdown so I guess it’s slightly more popular and current in that sense? But if it’s really right for you and very much your casting then go for it!
