- Partners across the African-Eurasian Flyway are pleased to present “A Call for Cooperation: Saving the Places Migratory Birds Call Home”, a production of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s Center for Conservation Media.
This film showcases the beauty of a number of critical sites across the African-Eurasian Flyway, identifies how they are connected by the journeys of our migratory waterbirds, and stresses the importance of these sites for both migratory waterbirds and people. There is an urgent need to increase the protection of many sites and to work together in the Flyway to ensure migratory waterbirds have reliable, high quality wintering, staging and breeding sites for their survival.
With this video, partners across the African-Eurasian Flyway are calling on all relevant actors to take action to benefit migratory waterbirds and their critical sites. Join the efforts of existing international and regional organisations, national governments, stakeholders, scientists and local communities working towards this common goal.

Well done video. I've photographed DOZENS of migratory birds locally.
wonderful video. i wish more people cared about birds and the entire biosphere in general.
If I'm no longer a child of the Earth
I no longer know where i come from.
I no longer recognize my brothers....
Self-awareness is respecting
and caring for oneself
and protecting Mother Earth
so cool. I love seeing the routes birds take. That helps people understand broader ecological impacts and how oil drilling done in distant lands affects them.
Amazing!!!😢
Sea level rises for more then 120 years now and in the same rate. You don't have to mention that in this video, that is for the rest really great. Worry about the environmetal dangers that are threatening these unique sites.
Thanks very much for this excellent, beautiful and informative call to action.
Second, thank you Cornell...
Very nice Efforts, Excellent production, Happy, Thanks
Incredible landscapes
It made me feel that migratory birds and the places where migratory birds return need to be protected.

Prachtig 🥰
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😍
🖒🖒🖒
very nice.
It is not that I doubt that changes to farming is a problem for birds.
What might be a bigger problem is the denial of what excessive populations of red foxes and crows do to ground nesting birds.
This is a visible result of global warming and predator mismanagement.
