This is honestly great training. Let them do their thing and correct them. It’s the only way to learn properly. It ingrains it in the long run. Especially when you’re cordial about it.

Right. My managers don’t train me that way tho. Which sucks and it doesn’t make any sense. They don’t want me to have the chance to make mistakes and mess up. I have to be absolutely perfect like Gordon Ramsey

When I got trained, they were like just watch me do it. "Okay, go do prep bc it's getting busy." Then I'd do wrapping. A week straight of this. I got let go bc I wasn't learning fast enough. This.. is how you Train someone.

I'm glad to see you cleaned the knife after cutting a tuna sub. So many times I've had sandwiches ruined by being behind someone that ordered a tuna sandwich. I usually ask not to have my sandwich cut when ordering at any sub/sandwich shop.

Just took my food handlers permit, and I noticed you didn't wash your hands after taking off your gloves and putting on new ones after handling the bag. Later on your rinsed off a knife that was used to cut tuna, aren't you supposed to wash, rinse, and sanitize to prevent cross contamination? What if someone came in with a severe allergy to fish and had an allergic reaction? And then you tell your employee to just change gloves without washing their hands... I'm telling mom

That sounds so terrible God bless their souls. You sound like the laziest person ever. These jobs help you build social skills and help you learn how to work hard instead of slacking off all day. Its an interesting experience and is only bad when you complain about it instead of making the most out if it. People need to start somewhere.
