- Hi everyone ! It's been a long, cover less period of time but im finally back with a new cover, a song that means so much to me. Although my time at NBCs " The Voice" was incredible, it's time to get back to work. With the original artists of this song being Nine Inch Nails, Johnny Cashs cover inspired me. So this is my take. Beautiful cover love the high notes very passionate.

What a crock of shit she butchered this song first she screwed up the old familiar sting to unfamiliar if your gonna cover a song have respect for who wrote it and get the lyrics right. Second to sing this song you have to have soul something this girl doesn't.

IDK what everyone is talking about, I saved this cover to my phone because its amazing, the pain in her vocals are powerful, her version is more so being in pain, while Johnny's was being broken and numb

@@osamamghazal NIN was literally as dark as it could get, you could hear the pain and hatred in his voice. And the video they put with out was seriously dark as well.

She completely captures the emotion of the song lol. Just because she aint here singing like johnny cash does not mean she doesnt express the emotion of the song. I got chills. I could tell she felt the song. Especially in the end. She did great.

@@jeppek1ng Except he didn't really. Trent Reznor, who wrote the song, he did. I still think Johnny Cash's version is fine, but it certainly doesn't have a very emotional tone. Trent's is very emotional, you can hear it very clearly.

The phenomenal Jes Hudak (Jes Hudak) is seen here playing the piano and doing an amazing job. If anyone is wondering she also is a singer and guitarist. I have been subscribed to her TH-cam channel for actual years. Unfortunately it seems she has not posted any videos in a long time. It is not clear why. Anyway I recommend taking a look at her stuff there.
