It's interesting how much early music performances by modern-instrument ensembles have been influenced by period-instrument ensembles. Our knowledge of baroque performance practices has spread. Fortunately, the days of Bach performances in the manner of Mengelberg and Richter are a thing of the past.
It is a good performance, but as well as some other works of this orchestra this one kind of..dry and lack feelings, I suppose. For me, at least. Yehudi Menuhin and David Oistrakh performance is by far my favourite.

A Continuo Organist would've been cooler cause then it would really take use of that Pipe Organ that's in that Concert Hall.
