The whole segment about the door material, ITS A MAINSTREAM VEHICLE! Not a luxury car it's not supposed to be wrapped in leather 🤷🏽♂️. It's made for budget!
@@arrogen2831 what are you talking about? You mean to tell me a $20,000 brand new vehicle is supposed to have all of its doors wrapped in leather? Are you being serious? No other vehicle in this class does that. a mainstream car means it's for the masses and if you want luxury you go up to a midsize sedan or look at a luxury brand. The Elantra is every other thing that you just listed except for its stores being wrapped in leather which is something that a vehicle in this class is not have due to cost.
@@arrogen2831 Haha, go to name calling because you know your point is dumb af, see ya later boy, go head and try and find a compact mainstream with leather wrapped door panels bet ya can't. ✌️
My 3 week old 2023 Elantra SEL started alarming Forward Collison assist warning and radar blocked after 500 miles. There is nothing obviously blocking either camera. The dealership won't agree to look at the car for another 3.5 weeks. I have to be in driving and the alarm starts at 0.5 miles. every time. I then have to go into the touchscreen and disable the FCA while I am driving. This is beyond unacceptable in a car brand new car that promotes technology as a star feature!
That weird circle thing seems a stupid designed feature, it should be a screen for a camera for the drivers side mirror or something, so when you turn on the left signal, you can see who is in your blind spot and it shows up where that circle thing is.
The circle is a drive mode button selector for the N-Line DCT version. Just blank on the other trims.
@@jraheemjefcoat429 they said it was for decoration.
@@jraheemjefcoat429 From 7:49-7:52 Hey said that according to Hyundai it’s for design.
@@bradleymeyer9775 Trust me. Look up 2021 hyundai Elantra (Avante) N-Line. That circle piece is a drive mode for the N-Line Elantra with a dual clutch transmission.
@@jraheemjefcoat429 well they should have left it blank or maybe add another screen or made that drive mode selector available on all rims, I think it’s weird just being there.
Can someone please tell me the difference between the Elantra hybrid and the hybrid limited. Is it worth getting the limited version over the standard hybrid model???
I think the small screen on the left, will be the camera rearview mirror.
It the drive mode button for N-Line auto.
What is the circle next to the gauges????
I'd go for the gas , when you start a hybrid it's just not as satisfying as the gas version.
got the 2020 because i actually liked the way they looked but seeing these make me jealous...
Ikr... hyundai causes a TON of buyers regret cuz the refresh or redesign their models every 2 or 3 years 🤣🤣🤣
@@brandonlin6126 starting to realize that 😭 so many ppl hated the new 2019 bodystyle but i really enjoyed it, the front especially. when they said they were changing to bodystyle again i was like okay cool mine was only around for 2 years!! and then i look at this one and . Wow
@@beth0035 I feel the same pain. My family had a 2020 tucson and a 2004 elantra and they just showed off the 2022 tucson and my parents are annoyed cuz they wanted a small plug in crossover that was awd lol (and they made one after we made a purchase)
THOSE RIMS ARE HIDEOUS ! THE REST IS GREAT.LOVE THE REAR VIEW AND INTERIOR IS A WOW
The interior and exterior of this car for some reason reminds me of my 2020 Civic.
I really don't see how this looks like a civic, this looks very over styled and ugly in my opinion
A Civic can never beat the technology of the Elantra! The styling is more bold and in your face. Its giving me Audi A7 vibes. Which I'm not surprised. Hyundai designers and engineers are German.
@@Tritonal92 Exactly, even the 2019-2020 Elantras look better than this... love me a 2018 Elantra
Keen to see a comparison with honda insight 2022
That intro was 🔥🔥🔥
The new Elantra looks sleek, but there are a lot of obvious cost cutting details (not all windows automatic, cheap cloth box, no air vents in the backseat) which make the hole car less attractive as it seems in the first place. Nonetheless, I am looking forward to the sibling i30 which we will get in a few years in Europe. Compared to the new Elantra, the current i30 looks outdated inside.
They cost cut in the US Market. In Korea, they do offer rear vents and heated rear seats in the new Elantra (called Avante in Korea). Which was first offered in the 5th generation Elantra. They did the same thing to the Kia K5. We get analog dash and tradition shifter. While the Korean market gets the full digital dash and rotary shift knob. It's all a marketing strategy to keep the cars affordable for the US market.
I averaged 51.6 miles per gallon on my trip.
18:00 it that cvt already whining. I'll be keeping and eye on how reliable that cvt is.
it’s a cvt not going to be reliable like a standard transmission
5:30 I'm getting '02 Acura TL Type-S vibes from that speedometer...
Too bad you can't get the base model with the manual transmission that would be a super deal, and no worries about the CVT.
I'm surprised you're watching a dark skinned nonwhite reviewer like Redline Reviews. You've posted racist comments in the past, stating how whyte people are superior and mocking nonwhites.
@@braetonwilson4296 There is no such thing as racism, that is a confabulated term coined by the l!ttle hats. Asians aren't much of a problem of course are they?
@@watershed44 Using negative stereotypes to belittle, insult, and put down people of a different skin color is racism and you've made such racist comments in the past.
You definitely would not like a taste of your medicine. If people used negative stereotypes of whytes to insult you, you wouldn't like it. So why do it to others. Shame on you. I agree that Asians (Chinese, Indians, Filipinos, Koreans etc.) aren't much of a problem.
@@braetonwilson4296 Take a hike buddy, read the 1790 Naturalization Act, the FIRST immigration act passed in the USA. The bottom line is that unless you are a white European you shouldn't even be in the USA.
And preferring to be surrounded by your own race is 100% natural, no matter which race you belong to, ask the Japanese, Chinese, Indians, ect. Notice how all these races have their own homogeneous nations but somehow the white European no longer does, why is that I wonder...little hats know.
And no they are not white Europeans.
@@braetonwilson4296 I don't give a rats butt what somebody thinks of my race, call me a cracker, honkey, whitey, whatever, it doesn't matter to me. Why? Because the white race is the most noble on Earth, and the most innovative, productive, and creative as well. Not to mention the most benevolent. History proves it.
You thought the hybrid would be slower than the regular one because the hybrid lost all electric power while you were pushing it on the winding road and it was running alone with 1.6 engine. The hybrid should be faster in regular situations as it has more torque:)
Fast back Civic with sharp anguls and creases
We need to see if these new gen hyundais are reliable in the long run, 100k+ miles and more. Their older cars were to know to fall apart at higher miles compared to honda and toyota. They stepped up their game in the looks hopefully they did for the reliability. All this brand needs is a V8 sedan and a V8 option for their SUV then they can be for real
@MAGA there old gen cars are known to fall into pieces at high mileage, they were just a cheap quality car
Someone is stuck in the 90s time warp..smdh roll 🙄

Hyundai kia taking over the world. Best value hands down
Give it time yet, these cars arent proven yet in terms of reliability for the long term over other options, if they do then they are probably the best buy at this price point. In terms of sales they arent in the top categories yet so they havent taken over anything yet
@MAGA About all those defective engines over the last decade? lol
@MAGA why are you being weird? Do they pay you to brown nose on their behalf? I hope your being paid by them at least
3rd biggest car maker after Toyota and Volkswagen, that's all I gonna say! #HyundaiTheBest
@@paladin3116 I wouldn't doubt it. Paid shills for various companies are all over social media.
at 5:08, is that Alex on Auto...?
Yes
0:40 a wild alex appears!
Needs new more fuel efficient turbo engines and full spec (features + technology) from S.Korea. Still unsure about the design though!
Elantra should've gotten a horsepower boost.
That’s why the n line and N mode exist
Shut your face😈
can you please review the new escalade
Sofyan I really hope you know that both the gasoline engine and the hybrid engines are both gas-powered. I think you should offer some explanation to those viewers that don’t know or understand how a hybrid model works. Hint: a hybrid model also relies on gas to run 😁 just trying to help your video explanations 😉
I guess but with hybrids being out since the 90s, I’m sure a lot of people know how they work
Hyundai kia for world domination. Only thing left is an entry into formula one . They need engine suppliers
Cool intro music.
It's terrible bruh
They should get raid of the dents on the side and it will look better 🧐
Agreed
Hard touch plastics in the front on such a big car? One-touch window controls only driver side? What is this a city car? Even a VW Polo has one-touch all windows. Such a strange way of cost cutting. Well I guess that is you get when you want a big car under 30k.'
ALSO. No damped glovebox? Again is this a city car? Most subcompact cars do this. Again, such a strange way for cost cutting.
Why not make the car 2000-3000 dollars more expensive, and focus that money on a bit more luxury. It goes a long way. At least on this limited trim.
Tbh I think that hyundai cost cuts instead of raising price because of their reputation, especially in the US. So many people say "its still a hyundai", even in genesis videos, so making the cost higher will probably decrease their sales significantly
Even the base Corolla L that's a lot cheaper than this Elantra Limited has one-touch up and down for all 4 windows and has a damped glovebox. Hyundai is tripping bad. Base Corolla at 20K has independent rear suspension and Elantra Limited at 26K has the cheap semi-independent suspension. Wow.
@@arrogen2831 Hyundai/Kia know that if they stuff their new cars with cheap gimmicks like "wireless apple carplay" and "digital key", the sheep will get all impressed and buy it despite the cars being cheap and loq quality LOL
@@arrogen2831 Hard plastics in the front, one touch up and down only in the driver's window, no damped glovebox, and cheap inferior semi-independent rear suspension in Hyundai.
@@arrogen2831Corolla has all that. You can buy a Corolla with blind spot alert, rear cross traffic alert, alloy wheels, remote keyless entry etc.
i hope there is custom grill, it is too big
the rear is beautiful. the front is almost as cat fish as the sonata
Designers' obsession with triangles ended up with a weirdo
I will Hyndai would sell a Plug In Hybrid Elantra. With 280 HP.
Where? Nonsense! Only the Santa Fe will get a Plug-in version with 265 HP! Do your research and improve your grammar, please!
wow.. this car looks so sexy. saw it on road in the night, man... i thought it was some sports car
Watching your video, I now know why that "oh shit" handle on the passenger side is there. Makes it more ergonomic when using that 10.25" screen.
Only thing now Hyundai has to improve is their dealerships.
