Client Call: How to start using Zoho ONE for your small service business.

In this video we listen to a real client call going over how a person from the construction industry is using just three of the apps of Zoho ONE to manage their business...in his words. He has only been exposed to Zoho ONE...primarily Zoho Books, Zoho CRM and Zoho Projects for less than a week at the time of this call.
This person was using another product and felt it didn't have what he needed for project management. Then he decided to try Zoho Projects...but only the free version. It too was falling short. Great videos, Do you have one for the dispatch, scheduling of the field techs? Say you have a lawn mowing business and the client accepts a contract to Mow the lawns every week, how do you create and schedule the weekly jobs/tasks and allocate a staff member to complete the service and recur the task in a calendar?

Is there a feature in Zoho One for employees/site mangers to log project or employee time? If so, can that be automated to populate the project metrics?

Hello and sorry for the delay in response. Yes, if an employee / site manager is a user in Zoho Projects, and they are added as the owner of a task, they will have the ability to utilize a stopwatch feature where they can click to start the clock and click to stop it, the duration is then recorded against the task and rolls up for the project. Does that answer your question?

Is there a way to budget, record expenses at the task level, not by hours? I have subcontractors I work with, I have a budget going onto the negotiations and then we settle on a price.
Also. What would you recommend for the initial estimate / proposal. I dont see a way to convert services and good into tasks in projects. Should I start things off from projects?
