The brand is called Hairflix and the shadr is Dark Brown. But it's not available in Europe. This makes me more at ease about the Garnier shade 20 Light Brown I just bought because although it is called Light Brown, the girl in the box looks so dark brown. I hope that on my lightened hair it turns out a beautiful light ash brown like in this video. I can't find decent light ash brown brands, only dark ash blond, but they turn too brassy too fast. Wish me luck.
That’s because dark brown hair has red/ orange undertones to it and since her hair is was blonde before, meaning no undertone pigment left in the hair. In order to correctly dye blonde hair to dark brown ( and it stays rich brown without washing out to lighter colours), u need to fill/dye the hair with orange or red colour first and then the brown colour. I think her hair dye was an ashy brown dye which normally suited for orange hair but her hair completely washed out the brown and left the Ashe
I believe some brands have brown tones but with specific undertones to cancel out specific varieties of warmth. I usually have more orange since my hair is very dark so I use a blue undertone to get the ashy brown. If you have more yellow, yours would have purple undertones! Usually the people at Sally’s beauty are able to point out which have what undertones! Hope this helps
@@Hannlei98 yes you're right... Yellow tones cancel out ash or cool tone... And I assume her pink hair did help somehow to get that tone of brown... And since some of blondes going to brown or ash gray etc turns their hair out greenish brown maybe the pink is somehow lighter purple tone and it cancel outs green tones so it did gave her a perfect tone of darker brown.
@@jayannnardo9352 I would would say a medium or dark ash brown! Depends if you bleached your hair from a dark original color. If so, I experienced the same ending result after the bleach. When attempting to put ash blonde over top, it barely took, and my hair stayed very brassy. The darker color will most likely take much better and look even across the different yellow and orange tones. If your hair has damage from bleaching, use a demi permanent. I use permanent dye and it fried my hair even more. Hope this helped :)
I tried going this color last night and I failed again. It doesn’t horrible but it doesn’t really good. I need to stop listening to the Sally’s employees because they really know nothing. I have to wait another month before dying again because my hair is fried

It turned out so good probably because pink in her hair mixed and neutralized the ashy tone into a softer color
