    Wow I’m more interested in his partners views on this if that’s his partner? I’m in a similar situation as my Girlfriend is doing humanitarian nurse work and wants to do more which means possibly a 6 months to 10 months apart it’s nearly split us up but I’m trying to be supportive. As a sailor myself I’m wondering weather to go do my own solo Accross the Atlantic while she’s away

      Hi - I spoke to Dafydd’s partner and she said: “Oh heck! It all depends on the relationship, I want him to follow his dream (and come back). I will keep as busy as possible”. If keeping busy for you means doing a solo adventure like this too, then I wish you all the best for it! I’m sure it’d be an experience to remember.
