People can call me pathetic or whatever, but I shed some serious tears when wrestlers pass away, especially those I love so much. Watching them growing up made them mean a lot to me. Not ashamed to admit that it hits me hard when I hear of their passing.
I love when we get a character build so bad that even ever-positive Ricky J can’t hide his disgust.

Love your other content, as well, but the Rumbles are just so fun. They’re really fun to watch on their own, but your commentary makes them a whole lot better. Can’t wait to see what’s in store. This one had an amazing finish.

When we fill an entire ring with thirty of some of the most notable cartoon characters in history, albeit a very random collection at best, it’s important to note one thing: Cartoons are unpredictable. And because they are unpredictable, that we never truly know what they are going to do, it is vital that we always expect the ‘unexpected’. While the series tries to establish whether Dusty Rhodes has secured only one spot in the last episode or if Cody is eligible to join the champion’s rumble seeing as he’s Dusty son, we prepare to determine who’s next in line for a shot at the championship status. We’ve seen a few of these cartoons competing for a place in the finals before, even Mickey Mouse got in on the action. But in the end, a former champion’s rumble winner actually came off as the victor of this bout.
Batman, one of the greatest DC comics heroes and a legend in the field of CAW… how was it then that such a victory was unexpected? Personally, I thought that ugly Kirby CAW creation was going to end up as the unexpected winner as he was the last competitor we’d think would make it far in this match (And to whomever created that CAW, I apologize but I think we both know it’s true). Back on the matter at hand, Batman had to wait till the very last moment to truly make his move in this business. Using his quick wits and careful planning, Batman was able to deal with the old ‘Two Birds and One Stone’ method (Relying on Sulley to eliminate Kirby and storm behind the monster when he least expects it). We never saw Batman defend that championship status seasons ago but this looks to be the time where he hopes to become yet another 2x champion’s rumble winner.
But who was my MVP of this cartoon rumble? Let’s get down to the numbers:
Of the thirty cartoon all stars featured in this match, SEVENTEEN competitors secured the most eliminations. The highest count of the night reached ‘4’ eliminations, which is three points higher than the average ‘1’ elimination.
I give the Golden MVP Award for ‘coolest’ performance to:
Eric Cartman
The big man from South Park put on a dominant display from the moment he set foot inside the squared circle. It was straight elimination after another, nobody was safe in his wake… not even SpongeBob’s impressive run in the match could stop him. In the end, Cartman didn’t win the match, but he was just lucky that Kirby didn’t win the match or else he would’ve had to compete for that medal. Here’s hoping that Cartman’s performance was enough to grant him another chance later this season.
The nominees for the Dull Participation Medal for the ‘lamest’ performance are:
Jiminy Cricket… and The Cat in the Hat
In a way, these stars are both connected somewhat. These guys were involved in some box office stinkers, with Jiminy’s recent performance in the Pinocchio reboot (A step-down from the 100% Rotten Tomatoes score from the original) and the Cat in the Hat being partially to blame for why we’ll no longer have live action Seuss adaptations. But if I had to choose between the two, the Disney star was barely in the match for a few seconds and didn’t really add to any of the action. For the following reason, the cricket ultimately gets the medal… but that’s not to say the Cat is off the hook. He better pray his recently announced animated reboot proves to be a hit or he may as well forget about having another shot into the champion’s rumble.
Out of a string of WWE superstars who’ve been making up the total champion’s rumble set, a cartoon star in former rumble champion Batman will soon be taking part in the biggest match of the season. In light of recent events tonight, this sparks a series of questions: Will Batman’s win inspire a DC comics royal rumble? Will Mickey’s run in this match inspire a potential Disney rumble? Will we see a clash between 80s cartoon stars like the seasons of old? And the biggest question of them all:
