      Nancy S. Macario You will do just fine Nancy just one thing before taking oil filter off get a Phillips screwdriver make a hole @ bottom of oil filter let it drip for 5 minutes then take it off a bit less messy n while you put it back not so tight like he did, wash your hands so they won’t be slippery tight the oil filter by hand after you can’t then use the wrench but for 3/4 of a turn more ok sorry about your lost any questions please reach out ok

    A couple things for beginners, when you first are draining the oil, remove the oil cap in the engine bay to create a smoother flow of oil to drain when you unscrew the bolt under the pan and when you are done with the oil change all together. Call a nearby auto zone or other auto parts store and ask if they will take the oil you just changed out. This way, you don’t have to have oil just sitting around in your garage.

      Always use the recommended oil that's for your car. Car manufacturers spend millions designing the engine to work with a specific oil. For you to switch to synthetic will not gain anything. The key with ALL cars is do the oil change every 5k miles with the recommended oil (hopefully you do this since it's new). Your engine will not build sludge and last a very long time.

      This guy has no idea what oil to use , just look what he dumped in his engine...
      If this is your first or maybe the second oil change , then yes use the full synthetic !
      If the engine has 50K or more on the regular 5W30 oil , i wouldn't change over to the synthetic !
      If you do your just asking for oil leaks on the engine !
      The synthetic oil WILL end up on the driveway....

    Hey. Thanks for the video. I own the same exact car 2010 Honda Accord Lx 4 cylinder engine. Right now the car has 65,000miles. I am thinking to change the oil to full synthetic. I went to Honda Dealership to buy 5W-20 Oil. They said they don’t make it but I can use 0W-20 Oil instead. I bought the oil 0W-20 but not sure if I should change the velocity of the oil or not. Help!

      @globalprofits101 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If it's a 4cyl 2.4 use a FULL SYNTHETIC 5W20 if you want your car to last longer and run smoother. It's a huge difference in the cars lifespan if you use full synthetic

    • @globalprofits101

      And don't buy oil at dealership man just go to AutoZone or orielly or any auto store. Tell them your make and model and they'll guide you if you don't know.

    It’s actually safe to add the entire 5 quarts of oil when doing this. Reason being, this generation accord with the 4 cylinder has a huge oil burning problem, you’ll burn a quart in 1,000 miles. So you’ll be at the normal level 😂

    You should've filled the new oil filter with oil before putting it on. If you don't it'll cause an air pocket in your filter. Making it hard for oil to go in the filter
