I'm growing dwarf French beans at the base of my bamboo wigwam that I'm growing peas around. They are tiny, very short, and tbh the slugs seem to be having a field day, but I'm persevering!
@@Stu-Vino bamboo wigwam, love it! Have you tried coffee grounds and egg shells as a deterrent? And Richard Taylor recommends watering through a pipe to keep the dry ground and I don’t think he has any issues with slugs….
@@Stu-Vino I get mine from work too 😅 they have good nutrients in them too. Some else I’m giving a go for nutrients is making my own banana fertiliser out of the skins! I’ll let you know how it goes 😀
@@stevejones9329 I’m not sure, I’m more reluctant throwing docs than converse but have had to throw a couple of pairs 😢 I literally wear them till they fall apart!
Im getting brassicas in for Christmas and beans peas as well as salads dont look at packages just sow as always happy gardening Richardx

@@ZoYourOwn No, I should try coffee grounds - we can pick up plenty from work, so will give that a try 🙂
