Regarding the filler, it's not canon, it's just that when they made the anime, they decided to keep those characters around and add some scenes involving them. Bleach basically went with the approach of "let's give some relevance to our filler in the story" for their first one, which creates a weird situation where what you're watching right now is canon, but with tiny bits of not-canon spread throughout the whole thing as well.

You can decide not to like it and ignore it, but that doesn’t change what the canon actually is.

And a small addition - yes, those special Hollow are indeed related to Aizen experiments. Wont say much more, cause soon will come a good explanation.

Canon or not, fillers are simply a way to fit in the writer's concepts, ideas and improvised thoughts without needing to place it into a timeline he already wrote so.. you could say so.
Basically they are like Kon. That is literally all you need to know about them. This is the only filler they tried to incorporate into the main anime's manga story. They do try but eventually these filler side characters will just stop appearing.
Don’t worry about the references to the filler. All of those will stop soon then there will be one more random mention of the fillers later in this arc, which will be the last. The new mod souls will be goon soon too. These few episodes are 90% canon and 10% filler mixed in to help fill run time. When this aired, the anime had been off for so long (over 40 episodes of filler), so they ended up starting a bit too soon, which is why they had to include some filler in the canon episodes. It’s annoying, but it doesn’t last long. Remember, some of the filler arcs are short and pretty good. The filler arc you guys skipped was long and universally agreed upon in the Bleach fandom to be the worst filler arc. It’s up to you if you want to watch it, but it really isn’t worth watching.
6:35 It's not canon, it's just the canon part got changed a bit because of the filler. It's still happens to this day. Their existence wouldn't change anything in the main story tho.
Good job on skipping the Bount arc...won't say it's the worst ever but it add very little...Must be weird with those 3 character so here is a summary: they are mod Soul like Kon created by Kisuke to find the bount, one can teleport, the other clone himself and the other shapeshift. Also Ichigo transformed once and now he is scare of his inner hollow and Renji was temporary the Shinigami assigned to the town instead of Rukia...and he stayed at Kisuke place with a whole running gag he was a freeloader. Now your up to date, enjoy this arc !!
What the Bount arc adds is that is explores Ishida power loss. That's the part I found interesting. As we see here, the main story pts him in trouble once, then promises to restore him right away. It may have been non-canon, but it was something.
Honestly as someone that watched all the fillers, the worst one by far was "Captain Amagai", at least parts of it, some parts were good. Bounts while not super close to Soul Society and whatnot had a lot of good beats, esepcially for Uryu and the Bount lady he had a crush on despite looking like his mom LOL.

Possibly the worst take I've heard. Most Bleach fillers are good but not as good as the main plot and a bit of waste of time still. This was 65 episodes for them. Plenty enough for it to be a surprise lol

Don’t worry about the references to the filler. All of those will stop soon then there will be one more random mention of the fillers later in this arc, which will be the last. The new mod souls will be goon soon too. These few episodes are 90% canon and 10% filler mixed in to help fill run time. When this aired, the anime had been off for so long (over 40 episodes of filler), so they ended up starting a bit too soon, which is why they had to include some filler in the canon episodes. It’s annoying, but it doesn’t last long. Remember, some of the filler arcs are short and pretty good. The filler arc you guys skipped was long and universally agreed upon in the Bleach fandom to be the worst filler arc. It’s up to you if you want to watch it, but it really isn’t worth watching.

Good job on skipping the Bount arc...won't say it's the worst ever but it add very little...Must be weird with those 3 character so here is a summary: they are mod Soul like Kon created by Kisuke to find the bount, one can teleport, the other clone himself and the other shapeshift. Also Ichigo transformed once and now he is scare of his inner hollow and Renji was temporary the Shinigami assigned to the town instead of Rukia...and he stayed at Kisuke place with a whole running gag he was a freeloader. Now your up to date, enjoy this arc !!

What the Bount arc adds is that is explores Ishida power loss. That's the part I found interesting. As we see here, the main story pts him in trouble once, then promises to restore him right away. It may have been non-canon, but it was something.
Honestly as someone that watched all the fillers, the worst one by far was "Captain Amagai", at least parts of it, some parts were good. Bounts while not super close to Soul Society and whatnot had a lot of good beats, esepcially for Uryu and the Bount lady he had a crush on despite looking like his mom LOL.
Couldn’t disagree more. The Bount are was FANTASTIC. Shame people talked them into skipping it (even though the canon is still FAR better.)
