That transition to the solo at 10:00 is just unreal, the whole album is so well balanced and mature, it's a playlist-staylist! And who said the drums should be boring during a guitar solo? Goddamn! Also, shout out to Eskil who did an exhilarating and tasty bass work which is not mentioned enough imo, what a talented bass player! This is one of those albums that I think of as a family member now, a musical kinship kind of thing.
So proud of my childhood friends - the Gräs brothers! I still remember the countless hours playing Metallica covers and pretending to be rockstars, and here 25 years later they drop a godly album like this. Makes me happy to my very core!

I could not believe IOTUNN would outdo the sublime experience of AOTY 2021 Access All Worlds but by some force of wizardry they have! AOTY 2024 for sure, and serious contender for AOTD, AOTC and AOTM. I mean, come on, future spaceships should harness the power of this album to jump between galaxies!
Nowadays one has access to so much music, that it's hard to appreciate it the way we did back in the 80's and 90's... but every once every several full moons an album like this comes along... and just have to put your catalog churning/new music devouring practices aside to listen to it 100 times with glorious satisfaction. Amazing album!
Iotunn is imo easily the best band I've listened to in the last decade, if not more. Access all worlds was simply a masterpiece of an album. I still listen to it regularly and I still can't believe that that is debut album lol This album just did everything Access all worlds did, and often ramped it to 11. Absolute pinnacle. Safe Across the Endless Night and The Anguished Ethereal are my all time favorite tracks... I still get chills when I listen to them.

Absolute masterpiece, been listening to that album a lot in the last 3 weeks. If you think Access All Worlds would be impossible to top, Kinship is making a case here. Amazing journey through a lot of different moods/atmospheres always served with memorable melodies. Jon is giving one of the best vocal performance of the year, so much diversity from soulful to really agressive delivery. Intricate drumming with a lot of dynamics, fulfilling guitar playing, every single detail on this masterpiece is written with a purpose of greatness. Don't overlook that album, strong contender for record of the year, cheers \m/

One of the rare clean male voice I enjoy in metal. I usually can't stand overly Dramatic/Operatic many male singer go when doing clean vocal in metal. But here there is a great balance it finally feels like it's sung without overdoing it. Amazing album.

Huge moments throughout, but I do find it to neander a bit here and there. It's still a solid 8/10 from me, epic album! 🤘🔥
