My husbands grandma would plant tomatoes in the chicken coop and allow the chickens to eat them. It was so funny when we used the poo to fertilize our flowers we had tomato plants spontaneously spring up.

I used to take up grass clippings and put them in the chicken yard. They loved the grass clippings. I also raked up the tall grass clippings from the old pasture and put in there, too. The hay helps hold down the smell.

Hi Buddy. The chicken run looks great. Is there any way you can shade the new water container. The water is going to get over 100 degrees sitting in the sun this summer. I hope the bees love their new queen and settle down. It's sure looking promising. Have a wonderful weekend.

Awe amazing couple you are and i love how you help each other out (and surprise them ❤) beautiful family ♥️ I always had the dream of growing my own vegetables like my dad did for me+7 siblings and raising animals etc which I started when I was 19-20 i had a lovely FULL vegetable and flower garden but sadly didn't get chance to harvest any due to my ex husband but past few years I've been growing vegetables etc and got chickens but I wish I had a partner to share everything with and have the same ambition and drive to do all of these things ♥️👋🇬🇧

We just added a automatic water to our chicken run. It’s a game changer. My flocks drinks a lot of water.

Just a suggestion take the old water bottles out till they recognize the new one then add them back into the pen. I'm glad the bees settled down.
