You could always take Lottie May to the sanctuary to roost high up on the beams of the barn at night and scratch in the pastures by day....FREEDOM for LOTTIE MAY!!!!
I had one hen that ai hot alongbeoth and lived, but she didn't have the love feeling for most of the other hens. She enjoyed being broody and raising chicks and not socializing with other chickens. We had chain link dog panel pens and I kept her in one with a tiny coop. It worked well for a broody and her chicks. But she was just a fence away from the main flock and would pace the fence and fight through it with the girls next door. They were actually chicken fighting through that fence. I always thought Jersey Giants were nice. But she was the exception. I later put her back in with her other Jerseys in a separate coop and she got along with them. But not the ones she had once been raised with. I hope Lottie May finds it in her heart to enjoy the company of others If she doesn't, just call her PAT. LOL
being so close to the airport flight pattern and having so many solar lights, Kim needs to be careful a plane doesn't land on her house! My dad used to joke that my mom's many (MANY) solar lights were a beacon to airplanes. And of course, we kept buying them for her. So glad you rescued that young lady.
Sweet Loner, Little, Survivor Chicken! I threw the sweet in! 😊 I hope she takes to other chickens. I get so mad when I hear the neighborhood packs destroy any animal on Morrow land.
Is there any way she can have an elevated roost. I don’t think she is mad but scared. The last time I was in a crowd something bad happened to me, I feel her struggle.
She is afraid that those dogs will come back to get her, she is traumatized so she will be afraid for awhile since she watched all her buddy's die .. she gonna need extra support and Lovings to come out of it.. glad she felt safe at Sister Kim's ..
One thing I have to say is I wish we had gotten to know P-Pat. From all the stories she sounds like quite the character! Good or bad, she's memorable! 😁
Being out in the open also attracts predators, that’s why she’s become a liability for Kim. She’ll be fine, either going into the larger house or go back to Kim, once she’s done with her big hen house.
Lottie will settle in, give her time. she is living in a mini mansion all to her self maybe put a stick across so she may roost outside as she becomes accustomed to her new environment 😊 God Bless You and your family 🙏✝️

What if she has ptsd from the attack, and associates being in a cage to being almost killed, and lying there with her dead sisters around her and snarling dogs over her, teeth glistening in the moonlight? I have c-ptsd myself, so I can really identify with poor Lottie. She must have triggers that makes her rather rely on herself than being part of a flock that can be erased around her. I think it is because of her attack she rather roost high up, so high no dog can reach her, and I think she will be really terrified with dogs running upp at her on ground level and there is no place for her to hide and feel safe. I really would like to know how things turn out for poor Lottie! ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Maybe she needs to be in an enclosed pen, with a solar light on a high post, so she can roost on top of the light. Poor Lottie, it’s a sad world being alone; maybe not with her. ❤❤❤
If she was choosing to roost on that light post she may want a night light to feel secure that she can see trouble coming.
