  • HEY GUYS JUST POSTING A COMMON REASON FOR TRAVERSE, AND ENCLAVE OVERHEATING ISSUE WHEN VEHICLE IS SITTING AND RUNNING, OBVIOUSLY CHECK FAN OPERATION AND COOLANT LEVEL BUT HAVE HAD THIS ISSUE MANY TIMES WITHOUT A ENGINE COOLING PROBLEM IT WAS JUST A CLOGGED CONDENSOR OVERHEATING AND NOT ALLOWING AIRFLOW.
    this works on gmc acadias and saturn outlooks too just steps differ for bumper cover removal

    My 2010 Buick enclave - heat spikes up when driving thru hills . No issues when driving on flat roads or downhill. What could it be ?

    Hmmm 🤔 my 2013 enclave is overheating when idle or in traffic but fine on the road. Wondering if this will help. Gonna try this.

    Hey man my brother has the 2011 enclave and its overheating.....and there are metal shavings in the coolant...im kinda leaning on the water pump but not really sure. Metal is just in coolant not the oil. What could this be?

    • @JoeTheAutoGuy

      Yeah it’s probably grinding away in the Waterpump housing

    Hey sir, do you know at what temp are this fans suppose to kick on on this traverse. My traverse will kick them in a-soonest I start the car but I always thought the electrical fans were suppose to come on only when the engine requiere or when ac is on.

  • @emilycummings7540

    I just had the AC condencer replaced at Midas and now my Temperature gage is going up one notch above 210 when setting still. what should I check?

    Thanks for making this video 👍I am buying this arcadia out of my family because I have had enough of its constant failing. I have replaced the radiator,starter,battery and things I can't remember all were checked out bad never in my life have I ever seen such a piece of shit vehicle. I am so upset with GM for this I promise to find some way to shove this arcadia far up GM 's ass😡

      @kevinmaxwell6610 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      True Joe with regular maintenance I kept a you-go running. Just wait you'll need a transmission soon like this 2008 arcadia and you'll have to decide if the engine is good enough for a $3500 transmission +shut down time.

      What did you not understand? He did a great job explaining that he was getting to the condenser and radiator to blow them out. The only thing would have done differently is used water to wash out the fins, not just air.

      Just leave the work to mechanics then. No sense hurting yourself, Paul. Sometimes fixing an issue is not a drawn out complex problem. Sometimes cooling fins are just clogged with debris.
      To break it down: The nozzle he used pushes compressed air through the fins and blows debris out of the way. The water blows through the fins and demonstrates that the fins are clear while simultaneously rinsing the fins.
