Impossible to overstate how absolutely AMAZING this concert is. David Byrne and St. Vincent (Annie Clark) are both incredible performers in their own right. But this concert - with the two of them performing together along with what is essentially a brass band comprised of musicians all fantastic in their own right as well - certainly is far greater than the sum of its parts. 👍👍👍👍
You said it.
Well said
Just discovered these two together. Gold !
A beautiful fractured dissonance
She is so cool as if a girl out of Blade Runner

The woman presenting this show does such a great job interviewing David & Annie, she is really well informed. (also, her fashion style is great!)
Saw this show in Barcelona. Loved it but only now I realize how special and unique it was.
The chemistry between these two Artists is fantastic! Annie is simply gorgeous and talented!
This is so good. I'm obsessed with it.
Amazing!! This should have a gazillion views.... Bravo!!!
Now I realize that Annie also has arranged this music for the Brass Band, listening to the interview at the end of this video. Great. She is my musical hero!
I love how their unique musical voices compliment each other.
Very, very special thanks to you Mister Byrne ,for introducing me to this talented artist who is Annie Clark allias "Saint Vincent", la section cuivre est génialissime !!
should have a million views, this is killer!
Well this is just amazing to find. Feeling pretty lucky.
This just became one of my favorite things of any things.
This needs to be shared more. Insane quality.
Thank you for posting this Wonderfull concert.... absolutly brillant 😊
Special, outstanding, creative, brilliant, beautiful, artistic, inspiring, provoking, thoughtfull, transitory,( can't think of any more, please help).
These two work so well together
Sure looks like she's having a lot of fun.
How have I never seen this before. Two amazing artists, dream team right here
This is an amazing performance, loved to find this!
When I heard Love This Giant some years ago I didn't like it, now I will hear it again with a different perspective.
I've been searching for a full version of this concert for a little while, never expected to find it in such good quality. Cheers for the upload :)
Thank you dearly for posting this. They are such good performers, and the French make for such a good audience. I love how Annie looks when she is performing David's/Talking Heads' classic songs. You can feel her respect. What a duo! Wow.
Tal cual! Bien dicho.
Genial, brillante. 10/10
Mesmerizing performance. Annie Clark is an incredible concentration of talent and abilty.
God I wish I could have been there to watch this live.
The woman in the intro has got to be the most French woman ever. Even if she never said a word, I still would know she was French.
Emma De Caunes.....not to name her ! ;)
F***ing live by the way, I love what's not happening at 19:48....
How much wisdom in your comment, are you from the US?😢
He is always tuning perfect , David has perfect tune , forget about St Vincent too 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
I saw this show in Portland Maine. Best concert I've ever been to. At the end, on the way out, everyone in the crowd was smiling at each other.
Good, very good. As I still want to listen to all their live consert, I also appreciate this one very much. The brass bands coreographie, their playing, the sound, the texts, the connection. "Guess I must be having fun".
I could be wrong but I believe the trombone player with the dreadlocks has passed away since this tour. May he rest in peace
Edit: his name is Jason Disu, rest in peace
Gracias por compartir esta maravilla. Abrazo desde Argentina ✨
I was lucky enough to see them do this at the Roundhouse in London. One of the best Gigs I've ever been to. I don't think it's a coincidence that Annie soon followed this with her great 4th Album.
You are 1 lucky person!
Thank you for sharing this wonderful concert!!
Thank you for uploading this! I love this show, and the NPR version is much shorter than this one.
Amazing!! XX
This is great
Wonderfully quirky and cool
Awesome set! Thanks for sharing - wow, only 9700 views and 248 likes so far? I feel like I've stumbled across some fabulously well kept secret . . .
Fun version of Wild Wild Life, they didn’t play that when I saw the Chicago show.
Renewed respect for David B
Such a great performance, thank you for posting!
So awesome.
This so awesome. Annies songs sound so good with this line up too. She looks "chuffed as fuck" for every second of the time she was working with David and rightly so.
"I David Byrne of Talking Heads knight you in awesomeness from now till the end of time, you are my equal and we will make beautiful music together"
Tanto prazer em estar nesse palco!!! Eu pagaria muito pra estar junto desses músicos no palco, fazendo qualquer coisa!!!
This is good work, Byrne.
слов нет только уважение и восхищение
allerbeste Symbiose - Dankeschön an allesamt
Fabulous ❤
Mesmerizing performance!
I thought I was a musician till I saw this. I'm just a toddler with a toy piano. Must try harder!!!
Simply great art…
so good!
FANTASTICI!!!
caught this tour in Montreal and what a wonder
Wow!🌟
Just so good.
Musical Theatre at it's Best... Tre Bien♥♥♥
A great concert set, with selections from their album "Love This Giant" and other songs from their back catalogs, including the Talking Heads.
I hope everyone performing was well paid.
Superbe!!
Increible❤
I will always enjoy the old favourites but Strange Overtones is the highlight on this one. Starts at 4:46 btw not 9:11
Sublime --Normal Annie et David sont des géni(e)s .
Zajefajna muza 🦾🦾🦾🦾🦾 Poland
Annie is a legend
Спасибо!
トーキングヘッズの再結成は難しいのでしょう。デビットバーンのライブをまた観たい。日本より
私も見たいです。本当に音楽が良い😃🎵
Myślę, że są to nadludzie.
:)
Awesome!
Holy Cow!
No idea why 'Weekend in the dust' did not make the cut for the album release. It is a wonderful track :)
St.Vincent mi ricorda P.J. bello sarebbe vederle live assieme ❤
Genial!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏
Who ever forced you to cut Who can go blank themselves.
Lo spettacolo lascia a desiderare, ma tu Annie... non sei lospettacolo... Simpaty Raffaele... 💋💋Kisses to Annie... 🎩®️🎼
Nice shoes.. and the fitting percussionist to go with them!
I was so convinced that she was his daughter.
Them two are right for each other, at least on stage.
10 / 10 / 10
who else could rhyme masterpiece with hairy beast!?
How about that french horn though? ❤
Annie Clark would make a great Replicant in a new Blade Runner

They burnt the house down, she's a cool baby.

Классная рубашка у СамойПервой !
"I see the music in your face". Can it be said better?
ВЫ=ВОСТОРГ! но вот этот седой чувак чё кррутится рядом с ВАМИ, чёё может

If I could write and you really would receive it…ohhhh I want to communicate,ok there is nothing special/mysterious in my view. I could tell my toughest over these past 6 years,I make no chance it coming through, have no time to write,Al data is money, free marketing, research, advertising etc…my history my email db,political,61 medicine, addiction, making art, etc…even how often I go to the toilet, music I listen,ok I tried again love you all and from my inner core ,deep and clean, honest, full of love and gratitude, kisses syll ❤
David Byrne looks uncomfortable and awkward as usual in interview situations. He has stated he has autism, (Asbergers?) and not surprisingly, it shows when he's in public. Annie Clark looks completely comfortable in an interview, doing most of the talking.
I cant get warm with it. But me not in love, maybe that is why..
Но Vincent мне нравится больше
🙃❤❤❤❤💋💥
I can appreciate the "Avant Garde" Schtick...but this St. Vincent Chick is goofy with those steps of hers...I warn those who are on Prednisone watching this, like myself...might have a flashback from the absurdity in and of itself...this reminds me of Laurie Anderson theatrics; good lord the mild dissonance alone...and old talking heads tunes as well....put a smile on my face! "Home"
the talking heads singer?
YES
