Impossible to overstate how absolutely AMAZING this concert is. David Byrne and St. Vincent (Annie Clark) are both incredible performers in their own right. But this concert - with the two of them performing together along with what is essentially a brass band comprised of musicians all fantastic in their own right as well - certainly is far greater than the sum of its parts. 👍👍👍👍
Very, very special thanks to you Mister Byrne ,for introducing me to this talented artist who is Annie Clark allias "Saint Vincent", la section cuivre est génialissime !!

I was lucky enough to see them do this at the Roundhouse in London. One of the best Gigs I've ever been to. I don't think it's a coincidence that Annie soon followed this with her great 4th Album.
Now I realize that Annie also has arranged this music for the Brass Band, listening to the interview at the end of this video. Great. She is my musical hero!
Thank you dearly for posting this. They are such good performers, and the French make for such a good audience. I love how Annie looks when she is performing David's/Talking Heads' classic songs. You can feel her respect. What a duo! Wow.
This so awesome. Annies songs sound so good with this line up too. She looks "chuffed as fuck" for every second of the time she was working with David and rightly so. "I David Byrne of Talking Heads knight you in awesomeness from now till the end of time, you are my equal and we will make beautiful music together"
Well this is just amazing to find. Feeling pretty lucky.

This is an amazing performance, loved to find this! When I heard Love This Giant some years ago I didn't like it, now I will hear it again with a different perspective.
Good, very good. As I still want to listen to all their live consert, I also appreciate this one very much. The brass bands coreographie, their playing, the sound, the texts, the connection. "Guess I must be having fun".
I could be wrong but I believe the trombone player with the dreadlocks has passed away since this tour. May he rest in peace Edit: his name is Jason Disu, rest in peace
I love both of you so much. With being schizo and stuff, I trust both of you 100% even assuming you know stuff that I don’t, and even stuff that would be specifically against me. Isn’t that wild? That’s how wonderful you both are. ❤
I can appreciate the "Avant Garde" Schtick...but this St. Vincent Chick is goofy with those steps of hers...I warn those who are on Prednisone watching this, like myself...might have a flashback from the absurdity in and of itself...this reminds me of Laurie Anderson theatrics; good lord the mild dissonance alone...and old talking heads tunes as well....put a smile on my face! "Home"
If this hornes ,were those of Jericho 's wall ,we would see other border limites Walls, falling over da grounds of Peace ,but i'am only an other dreamer ,wondering Times.
Annie going over to lean on the bari-sax player during Strange Overtones is one of the many reasons I love this show.
I was lucky enough to see them on this tour and it's still one of the greatest concerts I've ever attended.
I missed this tour when he was in Australia ,, but this is AMAZING

You are 1 lucky person!
Musically and visually brilliant - utterly captivating !!
Saw this show in Barcelona. Loved it but only now I realize how special and unique it was.
I love how their unique musical voices compliment each other.
Now I realize that Annie also has arranged this music for the Brass Band, listening to the interview at the end of this video. Great. She is my musical hero!
The woman presenting this show does such a great job interviewing David & Annie, she is really well informed. (also, her fashion style is great!)
These two work so well together
Sure looks like she's having a lot of fun.

I absolutely love whatever fantasy they have built here with this performance ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Thank you for uploading this! I love this show, and the NPR version is much shorter than this one.
The woman in the intro has got to be the most French woman ever. Even if she never said a word, I still would know she was French.
Emma De Caunes.....not to name her ! ;)
F***ing live by the way, I love what's not happening at 19:48....
How much wisdom in your comment, are you from the US?😢
Yep she couldn't be more Frenchyer. Lol. Lovely though. Actually, after seeing the interview I'm in love.
Good, very good. As I still want to listen to all their live consert, I also appreciate this one very much. The brass bands coreographie, their playing, the sound, the texts, the connection. "Guess I must be having fun".
Mesmerizing performance!
Renewed respect for David B

Byrne is genius. !!
This is good work, Byrne.
Awesome set! Thanks for sharing - wow, only 9700 views and 248 likes so far? I feel like I've stumbled across some fabulously well kept secret . . .
I could be wrong but I believe the trombone player with the dreadlocks has passed away since this tour. May he rest in peace
Edit: his name is Jason Disu, rest in peace
Tanto prazer em estar nesse palco!!! Eu pagaria muito pra estar junto desses músicos no palco, fazendo qualquer coisa!!!
Fun version of Wild Wild Life, they didn’t play that when I saw the Chicago show.
caught this tour in Montreal and what a wonder
Amazing!! XX
A great concert set, with selections from their album "Love This Giant" and other songs from their back catalogs, including the Talking Heads.
Sublime --Normal Annie et David sont des géni(e)s .
allerbeste Symbiose - Dankeschön an allesamt
Wow!🌟
I thought I was a musician till I saw this. I'm just a toddler with a toy piano. Must try harder!!!
Simply great art…
No idea why 'Weekend in the dust' did not make the cut for the album release. It is a wonderful track :)
I love both of you so much. With being schizo and stuff, I trust both of you 100% even assuming you know stuff that I don’t, and even stuff that would be specifically against me. Isn’t that wild? That’s how wonderful you both are. ❤
