I feel like this interview was needed because I think Robbo is the only one of our first team coaches that doesn't really get a lot of attention or publicity.
We've heard a lot from and about Moyesy, Kev Nolan, Mckinlay, Irvine, Pearce, Heitinga etc but not actually that much from Robbo so thank you Chris, I feel like this episode was very informative and helpful!
If we're interviewing coaches now, can we get Paul Nevin on next as he's another one who I feel like goes a little bit under the radar
Thank you lads, good luck tomorrow! #COYI ⚒️⚒️⚒️

His younger brother Glen was a very good player but was just too small and lightweight for that era where they just wanted big, strong and fast players. No doubt he'd have made it if growing up in today's game.

Should of asked a real question like. How comes none of the youth players are breaking through. All these questions was safe. Boring interview

It’s a West Ham podcast. Are you genuinely expecting a grilling?
Honestly, if you look back at our youth team, 4 years ago it wasn’t strong. It’s strong now but they’re young. Could you name any youth player that we’ve released and then went on to show his real potential?

This isn't sky sports mate. You are looking at the wrong channel for those answers.
Let's ask Chelsea why they got rid of Declan Rice in his youth while we are at it.

Because they're not good enough. Oxford, Ngakia, Diangana, Cullen, Coventry, Perkins, Ashby etc - none of them are top-six quality. There's big question marks whether Johnson and Mubama are. The younger crop might have a couple that are good enough, but they're not ready yet and need to go out on loan.

Till this day as a Ajax fan, I do not understand how Ten Hag bought Antony and not Kudus. Critical failure. Everybody knew he was a hothead.

Should have asked why none of the players were up for it in the cups.

Sounds like a top lad but saying he’s uncoachable shows the ineptitude of our coaching staff. We’ll never be able to keep our world class players if we can’t develop them into even better players, same with our youth. The club needs a revamp from the top down.
