Turns out that I did miss a few animations on the RSS cars - they do feature some front wing flex as well, as well as floor flex. They've announced an update coming soon though, so I might take another look at the car once that update is out.
I'm using two different apps for it. The first one is Race Essentials www.mediafire.com/file/dm550g61oo6vi2b/RaceEssentials_v1.4.9.zip/file And for the tyres I'm using tyres_app_ext www.racedepartment.com/downloads/tyres_app_ext.47842/
Like them both...but RSS is for me the winner! And after discovering some features that me (and many) didnt know were present in RSS mod, the gap os bigger! I can only imagine how much better, the updated version they announced...and that is the other point, RSS is amazing in improving what is already GREAT! Buth congrats for both teams... they really are the current best teams in modding (URD almost at the same level), and doing many time better works than oficial teams and devellopers out there!
RSS > VRC The RSS is so much better than the VRC come on, do not let the busy FFB feel of the VRC car fool you. The physics of the RSS are vastly superior and much more in line with the real life data and regulations, car behavior as seen on tv and stated by F1 teams. The way setups changes the aerodynamics, porpoising and thus drivability is just on a higher level with the RSS Hybrid. Also the more tame FFB on the RSS by no means results in lesser FFB , all the forces you need are there, at the moments it is supposed to, whereas the VRC just has this RF2 catch all the slides feel that may be adds to the fun, but does not make it better. Also the skittiness and nervousness off the VRC in slow speed corners and braking zones is not how these cars behave at all, it aint a nineties F1 car. The VRC can be subjectively more fun to drive because of the liveliness, but as far as simulation of a real 22 F1 car the RSS is on a level of its own, no comparison
See, this is how I feel but vice versa! I like the RSS but i feel like at low gears it feels like the VRC is more realistic to real life due to how too mych throttle can easimy send the car spinning as opposed to RSS where i can 100% the throttle easily in low gears without a problem at all. I guess I've never driven in an F1 car but realistically speaking i feel like the vrc is closer to how a real life F1 car would feel for me, like I dont have the experience to keep the car stable and would end up spinning out? But I guess what I want is something in between always losing the rear in a VRC vs never losing the rear in a RSS Edit: Haven't tried the extended physics for RSS yet so that may be something to consider
@@nitsuj6555 The most common misconception about realism in sim racing is that less traction and grip means more realism. Not true, as far as modern F1 cars are concerned.. The vrc is really far too unstable for such advanced racing cars with so much mechanical grip , downforce and big tyres. You should try out the Mercedes W12 for iracing if you have money to spare, that car was made in collaboration with the Mercedes F1 team and has tons of grip, although the 22 cars are different of course.
@@kiekiek thanks for this! Still wish the RSS had just a little bit less grip, especially on cold tires but the W12 in iracing convinced me. And I just found out there's a V2 of the RSS so I've just updated and gonna try it now
@@nitsuj6555 Ok, nice, the W12 for Iracing is really something else when driving in optimal conditions (early in the morning, relatively low usage of track, no wind, softest tyre etc) I do agree the RSS feels a little bit too forgiving at certain moments though, but overall more in line with real life performance than the vrc (still a great mod)
@@kiekiek the lower profile tires are more sensitive on the throttle, I have absolutely no problems managing the throttle on the VRC car, matching IRL throttle traces is pretty much all that is needed to hook the tires up.
all this comparison videos are nonsense if you don't ask someone who knows actual car physics like the people from CSP discord, so they can compare. Doubt they would do that anyways since F1 is boring for them.

If they asked me to recommend one, I would recommend both, each one offers something, I am currently running more RSS to test update 2
Working feet animation has been around for a while now but its just not used because people don't notice it.. It was introduced to acc since day 1
how do you get all the tire temperture monitors and all the ui? is it a mod?

The VRC Alpha 2022 has broken tyres. It's a shame really, could be the better car but you cannot push it compared to the RSS due to this.
wdym by broken tires
when i use VRC and i step on the brake. the car instantly does a 180
F1 cars need a very specific way of braking, braking too long at near full force will make it spin
Would the blue part of the tires be the one in contact with the track?
Where can i find this hub?
how much FOV do you use?
😁 would be better to see tyres and steering wheel
didn't know which one was better so I got both
Did you really buy it?

tyre model is horrible on the VRC
Hyperion 2020, the BEST car mod ever!!!
Play this fucking video at 1.25 thx me later for god sake
VRC is superior by far
agree. But dont say it too loud... or some people is going to burn you alive XD
