I said it once, and I'll say it again. I truly respect you guys taking the time to educate your fans on music production, and I also respect the fact that you don't withold knowledge like most producers, and that is why you guys are my favourite. Keep it up!
2 of the biggest dubstep producers in the world and you still make tutorials, now thats AWESOME. real love for the music and kind sharing, keep it up guys!
Ahren FullStop You'd think they are some of the biggest, but they really aren't. They definitely deserve it though. Not sure why they haven't absolutely blown up recently.
In a sea of videos by people claiming to know how to make patches that sound just like their favorite producers but actually don't, it's great to have tutorials about how to make a sound by the actual producers that made the sound! Thanks so much for sharing your techniques with us! It is much appreciated. I'm sure I speak for a lot of others here as well, even the prepubescent little haters trying to hone their sarcasm skills. Be sure to tell the other great producers you tour with that if they want to be cool, they should put tutorials on youtube ;)
Completely agree. People love to moan about Massive, but it's easily one of the best synths on the market. Great interface, great modulation capabilities, awesome sounds.
It's because it's been used so much from people who just slaps a single wavetable and modulates it or something like that without any resampling/processing. That means that people will be able to easily hear plugin's distinct sound and will know it's massive, plus it sounds shit and overused when sounds are unprocessed or very basic.
What bros.... First time I ever heard your guys music was at an excision concert over in norfolk (Norva paradox tour) Saw a dude with a sick ass fking helmet come out on stage after Dion Timmer and I was like OH SHIT WHO DIS BADASS You blew my mind away... And yall are such bros about production too. This vids old but damn thank you guys!
This is awesome, I love this track and it's only just come out. It's good of you to post a tutorial on it so quickly. The only bad thing about the tune is that the drop isn't long enough, I'd prefer it to stay on for a few more bars. Can't get enough of it!
Hi , Guys ;) :D Can you please make a tutorial for the scream bass in your remix of the song Come around ! It's really nice and I will be very thankful if you do that !
I love Dubstep and all it production techniques but I agree with some people when they say " Dubstep" is just a bunch of noise behind a beat. I love BA and all there tracks but this sound is alittle sensitive to the stereotype.
meh this isnt very good. Honestly barely alive are just being over ambitious here trying to come up with something totally unique. Which is great... but this to me feels like they are trying to hard. They need to simplify their music a bit. Zomboy even said the same thing when he first was making brostep. LOOK WHERE HES AT NOW. On top!

Lol.
Massive is actually a really versatile synth.
I wonder why people hate on it so much.
Because it's "too mainstream".
That's why.
Edit: It's a stupid excuse btw
Like Lenny said, it's because a lot of people use it. That's basically it.

+SolitoneMusic Now months later, Serum has beat Massive by huge margins, lol, how funny.
Back to back
Prepare to hear this in every Alpha Noize song.
And Tim Ismag, EH!DE, etc...
Fever Factory not EH!DE, he makes original music and is a highly regarded dubstep producer and hasn't ever used this. lol
Cold Fusion Idk, EH!DE has been rumored for using hollow point in some tracks lol
not really, i haven't EVER heard that accusation.
