Thank god for these tutorials man, the challenge for this isn’t even the combat, it’s the maze of a map. I tried playing this 4 times and had to quit because I kept getting lost (especially in the tunnels)
Oh man this brings me back. I started Destiny during Season of the Lost. Your original guide on Presage was one of the first videos Ive watched, and since then, this channel remains my number one spot for Destiny content
Hollow Denial and Callus Minitool are the main things to look for from this mission.
I got both first time
Normal presage is a great solo experience, no cake walk, but not exasperating

@The_Fierce_Deity definitely lol. In fact, it's so easy to farm for the legendary weapons lol. I just got 4 red borders from 2 back to back runs. I'm farming again tomorrow

This is actually a very good guide for "the average player" which is me. Sure I have the conqueror seal and other in-game cool stuff but I still consider myself average. I did this mission a bunch of times, got the cat back in the day, but never was a master of the switches and fuses and egregore. This was actually helpful rather than someone saying, "here do this then this then this" and not considering what some solo attempts might look like. Thanks :)
Very helpful. The map had this eerie tone to it that made going through a bit hesitant so it helps to see where to go
I had no idea DMT was craftable, I just finished up Presige using your video, I'll prob main my crafted DMT for the foreseeable future.

I usually run the guides as I play the mission, so there's a lot of pausing of the video to make sure I'm going in the right direction. E's vids are my D2 GPS, lol.

D2 GPS that's a good one. I always had confusion on this mission, and I know I still would in some of the places. Good thing it's not timed or I'd never make it. I had a friend who knew it like the back of his hand help me do the cat run back in the day, and even then we only had seconds to spare on the boss kill.
@@chipsawdust5816 Yeah, I had trouble with the timed exotic mission in the last season. I don't have friends who play D2 so I had to resort to lfg fireteams. Needless to say, in every attempt we failed to beat the timer. Bungie really should get rid of the timer for that event, if not for all timed ones.

I got DMT from Presage during Beyond Light and it was very tough. I did it a second time for the catalyst. Going after a red bordered one next.

Funny, I remember how much of a struggle I used to have doing it solo. Found it to be a lot easier, funny how a few hundred levels of light can make a difference.

We had a 12 man fire team in the Presage mission when you could glitch 2 fireteams together.

Great guide! Thanks for actually explaining. You earned a sub from me with this awesome video. I am new to Destiny 2. I have to say it has probably the worst new player experience that I have ever experienced. I had a cousin that gifted me the Witch Queen expansion on Steam. But I didn't play it very much because I couldn't figure out what content I should be working and the UI seemed to complicated. It just took a while for me to figure out how to navigate it. Which I still don't know much about it. I ended up buying the lightfall annual pass and started really enjoying the game.

@gherry8 yeah I started with a Warlock but couldn't get the jump down for that class. I switched to a hunter and found it more enjoyable.

I had kept this video open in the background if I stuck somewhere and wasn't able to figure out Presage at any point.
Surprisingly I was able to figure out the mission by myself, and loved the horror atmosphere throughout the mission, especially at the start.
To newcomers, I would recommend you to figure out the mission by yourself (it is surprisingly not too difficult to figure out actually). Loved the horror atmosphere made by Bungie, made me remember the horror feeling from the 343 Guilty Spark of the first Halo game (and alien isolation).
Great job, and thank you. Damn I hated that mission before.
Really like this guide, but forgot to note that if you die at the first combat arena, you have to go through the compactor sequence again.

Just beat this 100 power under the recommended amount. It was not as horrible as I thought it would be.
(Bonus points: I also did this heavily sleep deprived, which led to some... very dumb mistakes.)
On 15:38 it’s doesn’t kill you it actually send you back in the room near the hangar and because of that I have no choice but to restart my mission

Thanks for the guide made it to the spinning rollers of death with electric shields and spent 15 minutes back and forth. Checked out this video and the way out was at the bottom of rollers. Used the guide a few others times. So once and thank you.

I found that glitch spot without even knowing it was a glitch, just happened to be in that spot and was surprised i didnt die.
If your quick enough before boss, you dont even need to open that middle door. Can just get straight through

Gosh, this is a blast from the past.
It's back with the Exotic AND loot from the Season it came form for those who missed those weapons.
Right at the start where you have to shoot the stuff to explore the room, whenever I shoot it nothing happens, I’ve tried different weapons and even restarted but won’t work, what do I do?
When you shoot it you have to be standing right next to it so you can have the buff needed to go to the next room

I do agree, I need to run Legend, but i might save that for Week 4.
Do you get the weekly loot one all characters? Or just once?
