You have the best guides! This is my first time solo, and I was able to get it finished with less than 10 seconds on the clock 😂. I’m going to do it again now that I know what I’m doing 😁
Thanks man. I never got dead messenger first time around as I suck at tank controls. Ran it just now and used Polaris Lance/retrofit and a strand sub with solar titan and the new arms. and got it with 2 minutes to spare. I found if you stand right next to him you take very little damage from the solar balls of doom.
Normal difficulty is quite easy to do, but in order to get the Catalyst u have to do Legend difficulty and soloing it is quite tough. And next week it's the Revision Zero mission, that is gonna be such a drag to solo.
@@thehiddenassassin8574 So last week weapon is the dmt and if u have bought 1 from xur and unlocked the catalyst it will remain on your crafted weapon. Compare to that the Dead Messenger and the Revision Zero are Seasonal exotic and have not appear in any other sources. Bungie have clearly stated that u need to do legend to get the catalyst.

Does the same as me, upgrades exotics to level 9 before committing to burn 3 shards. I do this with most my exo’s just to try them out get a feel for them & see if it’s something I’ll use a lot or it’s just going to be a banker. I’d say 97% my banked exo’s are lv9 All the go2 gear is maxed out. Really wish each character had there own 600 slot vault. As 600 shared just doesn’t seem to work.
Unfortunately It didn’t come this week but what I could do is still watch this guide until next time it comes out (I’m talking about the vox obscura mission)
Read online that you have to run it 3 times on Legend to unlock intrinsic perks. Not sure how committed to doing that but hoping get couple chums at least craft regular version of it. Have it and catalyst from back in day but nice that mission back in Exotic Rotator.

It was about 4min30sec, I honestly had to go back and check. They for sure made it longer this time. And Legend doesn't have a barrier champion right there in the front.
I don't see any way to get a second tank - there are ONLY interceptor platforms. Is this a change? I've tried it several times, the last time I just explored and went to every single platform. No tanks at all
I make my guides that way to show they aren’t required. You can use whatever loadout you want, I just try and do a more basic loadout so the build or lack there of is more accessible.
I love that he does his guides without all the exotics and high end loadouts. The builds he uses are for any player to show you CAN do it if you don't have high end gear or weapons.
It's cake with graufalcons haubark and a weapon with repulsor brace like unforgiven or title. Add density is so great you pretty much always have a full void overshield. Those fireballs still suck with it though. You can tank it but it'll take you from a full shields and overshield to like 25% health. Unfortunately I'm too low light to be able to comfortably solo it on legendary though. Even normal enemies are absolute damage sponges at 10 below recommended so I already know I'll run out of time of I try clearing it on my own. Maybe I could just skip through most of them but Idk if can output enough damage o kill the boss before the timer runs out
Ever had the doors not be open when you are in the Race to the Control Room section. Killed all the mobs in the area including the Unstoppable and Ba'Aruk but the doors behind them are both closed and I could not proceed.
I think he meant he was trying not to for the people that don't have them. There is nothing worse than when they bill something as "Easy solo" and then they start by telling you you need a bunch of stuff that costs raid spoils or exotic class item combos, etc.
I maybe can help you if you want, i struggle for a long time but I finally managed to do the mission 3 months after its release and today I did it relatively easily, so I can help you if you want, but i don't have microphone?
If you drive the interceptor into the side of the first tank its a one hit kill and the tank blows up.

Actually revision zero is pretty easy to do solo. I did all the missions when it was first released solo with my solar Titan with Loreley helmet
from what i know you DO NOT have to do it on legendary to get the catalyst, i got it last week on normal but oh well who knows

I detested this mission, so much so that I never bothered getting the catalyst when it first came out. Looks totally doable now solo
I got it from running a normal Vox with a fireteam🤓. On master I got one of the catalysts with a fireteam too

Should be run the mission on normal for traits. It should be just master for catalyst.

Why are you saying to not use exotic weapons?
I make my guides that way to show they aren’t required. You can use whatever loadout you want, I just try and do a more basic loadout so the build or lack there of is more accessible.
I would think Skyburner would be the go to Exotic for this run.

I did this with a hunter with lucky pants and malfeasance and deleted everything in my way
