- If your goal is to achieve a 99 in any skill just to obtain a skillcape, which skills would be the easiest to level up? That's what this video is for. REGARDING CONSTRUCTION I MEANT 130-150M, OOPS. Around the same cost as prayer

99 Bench sitting for sure! Got that in 5 mins, can't beat that!
Its was 11 minutes
Nah, I got it in 5 minutes too.
Bench sitting is dead content
ruined my bandos armour since i accidently sat on some wet paint :(
Skill issue@@thierryosborne1607
I'm shocked farming didn't get a mention here. Yes, you can't really grind it out in one sitting, but you can train it while the game is closed! The POF allowed me to get 200M without any real effort.
and if you wanted to put a lil more effort you can use the beans from pof to buy growth potions and get 10-20m xp an hour during dxp but that’s not really accessible to everyone if you don’t already have beans/high farming
"if your goal would be to get a 99 any 99 just to have a skill cape" it's implied the goal is to get a fast 99 for a cape.
Any tips? I’m 105, doing black dragons, crystal chins and herb runs
@@ProfessionalGasLighting i always fid magic tree while doing dinos and black dragons
@@ProfessionalGasLighting sell adol animals/dinos, get beans, buy as many fruit tree growth potions as you can (prob atleast 50-100) wait til dxp, plant your highest fruit tree (could be boosted), use growth potion, repeat til none left 120 farming quick not counting the time it takes to get beans
99 fm... 17 years ago.
Maple logs burned in lines at Port Phas.
Lost my race by 12 hours.
My first 99 was slayer because I thought it would be cool to have that cape un-trimmed. Bought like 10 capes so I'd have them. Thankfully I keepsake'd one of them...did not know they would all transform after I got my 2nd 99 lol.
First 99 was woodcutting, My favorite skill. 🌲
You brave soul
Started playing Runescape nearly 20 years ago and never even got close to a 99 back then. Only got back into the game like 2,5 years ago. For some reason really got into Player Owned Farms then, which led to Farming being my first 99. Now I'm only 5 skills away from getting everything to 99!
I was the same, started 15 years ago, took a break until I got back in around 3 years ago, and got Agility 99, and I'm now starting to really get into the grind! 5 down, many more to go
It's always a triangle - do you value time, cost or activity? If you have a ton of money and can buy your way to one, it'll be rapid but usually quite active. If you have all the time but no money to spend on it - you can grind your way to a 99 in something that's more AFK. If you want to play very actively, say manual combat, you can get that quickly but it can be expensive to do so.
Sadly getting 99 skills became too easy.. I rememeber times when I started back in 2003 that achieving a 99 was such a milestone.. often hundreads of hours of really active playing and clicking.. today it's often a matter of few hours.. it's a shame..
my first 99 was Prayer. I did a lot of bones at gilded altars in a friend's player owned house, but once i unlocked it I switched to clensing in the Hefin district of Prifddinas
My first 99 was dungeoneering! But I honestly think combat skills are the easiest
I’m surprised mining wasn’t mentioned at all. It’s the only 99 I have (but that’s basically only because seren stones let me train it nearly efficiently while waiting tables at work)
Seren Stones have a while bunch of requirements, which is probably why it was not on here.
i love that u said prayer first as im i can say no on that 1.
From a vet player that started back in 06, 120 is the real "99" in rs3.
First 99 on my main was Fletching, alts had slayer and magic as first 99s
My first 99 was fletching right after the skill capes came out! And to have someone ask you to do the emote ugh.....good times
It's been over a decade since my first 99, and I'd say Hunter is much, much easier now for a first 99.
First 99 was strength, most at pest control, a long time ago...
Divination, because I wanted that untrimmed cape at the time it was the newest skill in the game
Samezies!
My first 99 was probably around 2011 and it was 99 prayer ironically. I had the money and the construction level to use my own gilded alter and spent half a Halloween masks worth of money on dbones and ground out 99 prayer. I'm probably one of the first players to have a un trimmed 99 prayer cape. I did it because I needed 95 prayer and at that point why not go the distance. No regrets. Next was 99 construction with the rest of that money from the hween mask.
My first 99 was Agility, I'm probably one of the rare few that actually enjoyed doing laps. I got it shortly after the Advanced Gnome and Barbarian courses came out, since there was something new to work towards outside of the Cave Goblin course.
@protoxx dankjewel 🙂Tip! Use Fire lighters (the shrooms on a stick) while firemaking to collect automatically the Fire Spirit rewards. Meaning you gain a slim chance on making money while training FM.
didn't expect to see a new video when I opened youtube 🔥
Archaeology is by far the most rewarding 99 to get. You can’t rush it with bxp or dxp because you find yourself having to go back and do the requirements for the achievements anyway. Plus it’s an overall fun skill to do
I only train on double exp events can't be bothered to grind out anything normally
Woodcutting was so relaxing and how i made money in the esrly days
My first 99 was Constitution. Got a huge boost in that skill when I converted all my Soul Wars zeal into xp. Got the actual 99 in 2018 while on an Abyssal Demons slayer task.
My first 99 was attack in RS3. In OSRS my highest skill...is attack. There's some nostalgia about the melee style that just takes me back lol. I've been playing since 05.
pretty sure dungeoneering was my first 99 because that's the most fun I can have playing this game. and, for a player with no other 99s, the trickle of xp you get in other skills while doing it ain't too shabby.
I never understand people who enjoy dungeoneering. Its one of my last 99s to go sat at 93 with more than enough bonus xp in it to reach 99 but I still leave it lol.
Why do you dislike DG?
@@trooololol Its depressing, and I dislike rs3 combat in general.
First 99 was Attack. The red cape is just awesome, even though atm im using the Divi cape for fashionscape.
99 Prayer, I put every single quest reward lamp into the skill as well as any other lamp and star from the moment I started playing. Then finished up the skill with cleansing stones in priff during a dxp once I got there.
Necromancy belongs here for sure. It's not insanely fast but it's accessible, afk, and mega cheap. It was literally created to be a new or returning player's access point to pvm, so it wants to zoom you to 99 or 120 with decent gear to get you learning boss mechanics before you have the gear and unlocks to do the higher dps but higher requirement combat styles.
Got my tea ready!
The skills you enjoy :)
Agility was my first 99 back when Barbarian Advanced was the best course and Silverhawks didn't exist... told myself if I could suffer through that I could get any 99 :')
I have a 20 year old account that I have played on and off over the years. My first 99 was actually slayer which I got earlier this year
every skill is easy mode now, i love the game but its really the nostaglia that keeps me playing
i hate how easy 99s are now, its taken all the achievement out for me, people used to do 99 partys, no one would even bat an eye lid at a 99 now.
i remember no lifing farming, by doing patches and combat with seedicide, i spent a stupid amount of time going for it daily and took me 7 months to get 200m i was over the moon, i got a sub 900 ranking and this was just before POF, if you look how many people have 200m farming now since POF its insane, its the 6th most common 200m (70k ppl with 120 and 20.8k with 200m), back when i got it it was one of the rarest.
I'm working on an account that i started to do the gold cape and p-hat events so only a few skills were worked up. My fist 99 will be and I am surprised it wasn't mentioned is going to be agility lol. 95 percent of it from silverhawk boots.
My first 99 was Smithing since it's my favorite skill by concept (but in practicality, making your own armour is a crapshoot and not generally worth it [I did make my own MW armor though]) and then I ended up forgetting to keepsake the cape due to not having a lot of gold to waste on bonds for keepsake keys and got 99 Mining during an event and lost my untrimmed cape XD
I got 99 firemaking in f2p like 9 years ago. Still have that untrim cape keepsake
First 99 was attack. Sadly i never had an untrimmed cape as i had multiple 99s when the capes came out
Thieve was my first 200mil back in the day. Pyramid plunder was the best and only true way to go back then. Never wanted to go back but that scepter of the gods came out so im back grinding for it to speed up clues
My first 99 was dungeoneering. I quit RS3 for quite a few years, but occasionally I'd log back on to do a dungeoneering floor in f2p. There's just something very satisfying about stripping a dungeon of every resource, getting even that last experience point. When I got membership and finally came back for real, 99 dunge was the first thing I grinded out.
I'd argue based on only needing 3 of the 4 requirements, dungeoneering is the easiest 99/120. There are no quest requirements to get started with DG, it is insanely afk if you just leech (you just end floors every 5-10 minutes with very rarely a group puzzle you need to do) and extremely quick with XP rates of over 10m an hr. It will cost a lot but according to the definition used that's okay.
I mean yeah but that does require others to not afk 😝
First 99 was Dungeoneering!! Saved the untrimmed as a really nice keepsake c:
I have a number of 99's past that, but I still sit on 98's in Attack and Strength... Yeah, I'm not going to push those two intentionally 😂
Everything is easy to get 99 now. 120 is the new 99
My first 99 was Invention. Made sure to keepsake the untrimmed cape
My first 99 was wc back in does days when it was old school rs 2003-2004
my first 99 was runecrafting! majority of the xp is AFKing at runespan and finishing it off at souls.
Just got 200m Farming last month and now I’m taking a break lol. Decided to hope back on old school for a change of pace. I’m almost 99 in all skills so I just need to take a break from the grind.
My first 99 was Constitution (HP) as I was mostly training combat, then Defence. My first 120 was archaeology, but it was my last skill I got to 99 😂
My first 99 was Woodcutting as it was a childhood memory / achievement of me that I wanted to relive.
My first 120 was Herblore. Pain in the a** but I love the cape. I dislike combat so yeah... the benefits aren't really special to me.
99 Agility in 2011, purely because I wanted a cool blue cape.
After trimming it with herblore, I decided to max so I could get a customizable cape.
I think thieving is still the easiest 99 for all accounts. Prayer is good for normal accounts, but without a GE, Ironman relies on thieving, high alch drops, or boss drops.
You should do "the hardest skill to 99". Maybe also "worst/best to train" as well. I find Summoning and Herblore to be absolutely awful as an ironman.
First 99.. mining.
Loved it cause it was afk-abke with prifdinnas, my next was crafting!
Im not sure about the invention one. Ive been using augmented weapons and tools throughout all my 99s and siphoning the XP. Im almost totally maxed with 3 skills to go but invention is still at 90.
How? I did the same and Invention was at 120 before i maxed
@@Fuqmesideway No idea, ive even used Invention boosts to discover blueprints and such earlier for loads of xp.
You do siphon at level 12, right? Or level 13 for chance to save siphon if ironman
@@Fuqmesideway I do it at 9 or 10 cause its apparently more efficient and quicker than 12.
first 99 was constitution, then attack. Got a Primal warhammer in Dungeoneering and needed 99 attack to wield.
first 99 was strength years ago, i was hoping it would make me very strong XD i unfortunately didnt keep my untrimmed cape.... wish you could buy them back
"while achieving level 99 in runescape 3 has become significantly easier due to numerous qol updates, faster training methods and a plethora of xp increasing items and events..." takes reading between the lines to a whole new level if you just notice the background the entire time...
My first 99 was agility mostly thanks to the tuska world event
My first 99 was hp, and my alt's first 99 was slayer. I have both capes keepsaked.
First 99: Magic, trained endlessly at the Abyss
Most recent: Slayer, earned at Onyx dragons in the deep WILDY dungeon south of mandrith
99 div was my first because of money chasing for bonds afk/high income
Alternative title: “biggest noob capes aka easiest untrimmed capes”
Smithing Doing Gauntlets / Boots to burial is quite AFK and not bad EXP
My first 99 was hitpoints and I made my way to about 24 98s, but without combat and a few other skills, I was losing interest in playing. So, I achieved the 99s and continued my gameplay
Firemaking is better doing the dino stuff, you can afk for a minute and half just lightning shell shard
Slayer my first. Year ago maybe. Was by far my highest skill. Got to 108 and havent touched slayer since. Now almost everything is 99+. Only 120 is farm. Eyes on 120 thieve next. Easiest for me was firemaking, due to incense sticks n dino propellant b4 they nerfed it money wise
My first 99 was mining, surprised it didnt make it here.
What do you make to get 99 construction for only 50m?
Im insane so i got 99 agility first lol. But i do have a keepsaked untrimmed agility cape for whatever bragging rights that may be 🙃
True but get the skill cape from getting 99 should get a years cape too. Shouldn't use lamps only stars.
I should get my last 3 99s today or tomorrow being ranged strength and attack
Firemaking was my first 99 back in 2012
Would it still be possible to get the Max Cape with all skills at 99 when they raise the cap to 110? I dont really want to grind hard again because im so close to getting the cape
Yes, max cape just requires 99 in all skills
they also wont be releasing all 110s at once. the first two is during summer in mining and smithing the second pair might be fletching and woodcutting they might add a new max cape for 110 all or wait to 120 all is a thing and then make the 120 all cape more "official"
Thank you guys for your answers
yes, theyre never going to change the max cape 99 all skills req
First 99 for me was Firemaking before Woodcutting
@protoxx is there gonna be a part 2 to this video?
Hmmm how so? Hardest 99s?
@ProtoxxGaming maybe slowest 99s. Even with max boosts. Raw food is fixed to 28slots.. inside dungeoneering the raw food stacks
Honestly, with the amount of things that give you XP and bonus exp (lamps, stars etc) any 99 is piss easy to get. Even 120 isn't that hard.... I fucking hate farming but I built up so much bonus exp that I could just do the bare min. farming mushrooms on logs in the wako islands and with cindercores
Sure, not the most time efficient but far less messing about with teleporting around.
99 herblore and necro same day, during last dxp event
I felt like dart fletching made 99 easy peasy
Yeah if you got 5b to burn
Got given 1000 dragonkin bones and 2 ashes of burial, went from 1 to 65 prayer in an hour
I got 99 construction this year and was pretty excited about it. I actually made money getting it as well. But this video kind of shit all over my pride of wearing that cape. Same with the prayer cape. I wanted it for years and finally got it. And yet cooking isn’t on this list. Which I got in a matter of hours during double experience weekend. And don’t care for the cape. 😅
My first 99 was Divination
I’m currently 55 whatever the new skill is called. I haven’t even done intro and don’t know the name of it. I’m just back after 2 years of no playing, these lamps are insane!
My first 99 was Slayer over 10 years ago second was constitution 1 kill later that took some doing but 120 slayer now wa so much easier lol
Fishing is the easiest.
99 sailing only took a few minutes
Very different for irons rip. Thieving is definitely the easiest since it has no interaction with other skills (agility pickpocket aside) and has fast xp rates just like mainscape
My first one was mining a long time ago...
First 99 was STR .. like 17 years ago
I'm probably just too oldschool because I still can't ever see myself getting a 99 in mere hours like a lot of you guys do. It's just so incredibly boring and I lose interest -- even bossing I can't do for much more than an hour or two. I find my time on runescape so much more enjoyable when I am constantly switching between different things to reach requirements for quests and minor unlocks. I feel that overall I can properly appreciate a large variety of content without feeling immediately disappointed by the reward because 99 isn't really my goal on an account until I am running out of things to do for progression.
What about agility? Throw on the boots and do anything else while it skills.
with bonus exp out every 3 months now 99s are just a joke... still fun goals to get for sure
All of them seeing how it's rs3 lol.
Farming was my quickest 99 because of POF
Defence is 20m/hr during dxpw :)))
When is the beach ? 97 dung im ready for 99
Thieving is the easiest one to get 99, 120 or even 200m. The problem is getting to 64 for starting to safecrack. Probably took me more time from 1 to 64 than from 64 to 200m.
It’s 62 to start safe cracking
😂 bench sitting was great
My easiest 99 was mining
Guessing before watching. I would think it is Thieving
ha ;)
