If you ever redo this video or ever make another like it, please zoom in a little more, provide more light, and point out what you're going to unscrew before covering it with your hands. There was one especially irritating point where the tech did something to the bottom of the laptop, out of view, while it was turned sideways. Plus, the tech might practice opening the case once before doing it for the video.
    Suggestions for other viewers:
Avoid damaging the case by using a credit card or paint scraper instead of the point of a knife. You can always file down a corner so you can wedge it into tight spots.
Instead of mixing the screws together, arrange them on a piece of cloth so, when reassembling the laptop, you know which ones go where.

In order to do the second movement (releasing the back cover), you should unscrew the small screw located up in the center.

I agree with the fact that there should be more zooming in to see what is done. I would really appreciate subtitles saying what the parts are and what you're doing, as well as any advice on where to be more careful

Very helpful, unfortunately typical HP construction. At least you can access the fan and CPU without all this work. But it's kind of obvious of why you don't see them in a lot of businesses these days too. Techs like easy access and robust designs. Obviously the Probook at times misses these marks. The upside to this is that's why they're also cheap 2nd hand. Nobody wants to put the labor in to fixing it.

Another hint: Using a small piece of tape, place each screw on a flat area of the case next to where the screw came from.
I had the case apart four years ago. Now, replacing the fan, it took me a while to figure out why I kept finding pieces of tape all over. LOL

My OS shows a red x across my speaker button and laptop has no sound after cleaning and putting pack together. Any ideas what I did or didnt do?
