Even after 7 years of wood working classes, we students were NEVER taught anything about these problems! Thank you very much for showing us this and the solutions to these challenges!!😁
So how are you supposed to make that adjustment if you don't have that measurement tool you made? Is that a tool that can be purchased or are you out of luck if cannot make your own?
Corte dentilhado.
I picked up a used table saw and started doing these kind of checks. Unfortunately, I discovered that the sides of the miter slots themselves were uneven. And the table surface. And the blade. And the ruler. I wish those of you who buy used table saws better luck. But most of all, be aware that you may have to do more checks than are in this video.
"For your safe"...?. No matter how well tuned the saw is, the riving knife is the best safety equipment. That stopped rip cut at 2.55 where the piece is tilting away from the fence is super sketchy.
When this occurs you must change the blade You can see the need before this just replace the blade Alsoʻ never force anything in a blade Your only asking for more problems 😮

As in my case, a guard and riving knife would have been more dangerous for me. I fainted near the end of my cut. My left hand went into and over the blade. 48 stitches and lost my pinky. If the guard and riving knife was on my saw, my injuries would have been way worse. Have a Sawstop now, only way to ensure most all dangerous senarios.

Thank you for watching.

Very helpful and informative. Thank you dear.

saw stop sistem he have so dont wory.
@@JKWorkShop Everyone watching also has saw stop sistem. I have no doubt.
Very clearly demonstrated. Thankyou.

Very useful tips 👍
Wow. This is exactly what I needed to see. I Love your videos and I respect your techniques. Thank you for sharing
Do not respect. This video shows dangerous practice.
Super, merci!!!
Ótimo vídeo, parabéns.
Excellent video! Thank you ^_^
Very helpful, thanks.
Great video, but with no writhing knife behind the blade most things won't stay against the fence regardless of parallel it is with the blade.
Min 2:50
I can't believe you didn't use pushers.
What you did is very dangerous 😢😢
Very clever. Next time use a push stick please!

Riving knife??
@@nikolausreinke9966 At 3:43 your hand/fingers are dangerously close to the blade, therefore use a push stick to avoid injury.

Agree! Dude is going to zip off his thumb eventually.
Sorry, I'll be careful.
great, i don't have a gauge so i cut on the other side of the blade

Dommage !
What kind of gauge is that ? Thanks 🙏🏻
kelihatanya mudah, tapi susah ,
I'll try this next time I have a steel blank, some rods, and acrylic laying around. Other ways to get a saw aligned using basic tools
Good👍
Thank you . bro
Çok iyi teşekkürler
Genius!
1:11 what is the name of this tool???
plunger dial gauge or precision dial indicator
Super!!!
What’s the measuring tool called?
@jonreeves3993 it's called a dial indicator.
I'm not so sure about you pushing that timber past the circular blade.
Bit of a Longway around do get your blade parallel, this sounds like it's f@@KED UP!!!

first thing you do with a new saw.
When this occurs you must change the blade
You can see the need before this just replace the blade
Alsoʻ never force anything in a blade
Your only asking for more problems 😮
No, the current problem has nothing to do with the blade. Please watch the video until the end. The blade has not been replaced.

Saw Stop gives some users a certain sense of security and therefore no push sticks and the like.

Some very unsafe table saw practices here
Here in Australia that misalignment would be the least of your troubles with all the other safety violations going on with the use of that saw

clean blade or change it. wtf why so poor quality of saw table, cant they maki it better? it can be dangerus.

The Sawstop does not stop kickback and it does not stop things dropping on to the top of blade. Riving knife and guard.
