Thanks Len What is it now nearly 6 months since you have painted and so Glad to see you back hope there is more to follow . You put the other ones no names mo pack drill in their place . Keep painting with a smile in your heart Ned
Great vids Len. I have a quick question, the paint on your palettes always seems so fluid and fresh. How do you keep it this way. I find I am forever pouring out acrylic paint onto the palette as it goes dry so quick.
It's nearly X-mas. Sorry for bothering. I love your language. Just the talking is so nice for me. And of course your painting. Do you mind if try it for myself? All the best
Mike - I haven't found a good way of slowing down the drying of acrylics. I just paint faster but you can try a 'retarder medium' - see online. I also use thick layers of paint and fully load the brush. A hot dry breeze is the worst so try for cold damp with no breeze area for painting.
A walk down memory lane. I love Lens’ Australiana.
You’re one of a kind Len, hope you’re well and happy.😎🇦🇺🦘
Thanks - I am well and happy, now living in Chiang Mai.

That looks great! The slightly chaotic kind of the colour blending on the palette knife generates nice effects. Greetings from Germany. Eric

Len, how to slow down acrylics drying? Needs of a specific medium?

I miss my Len Hend videos.
Great videos Len! I work in both oil and acrylic. Is it alizarin crimson you are using? Can i substitute with cadmium red if not?
No, you must use any crimson, reds go brown.
Thank you. I'll try that!
what oil paints are you using in this video .?
This video is acrylic. I stopped using oils due to health reasons.
