Great for women who he trains. He is curious and ask questions unlike many other trainers.

I wish I knew you when I first started training in my mid twenties. I would have saved my thyroid, joints, and tendons. I hope it's not too late to turn things around after 30 years of bad training, nutrition, and recovery. Thank you for all of this amazing information. I am now a big fan!

Waiting for “Next Level” to arrive (journalist on extended assignment in the Middle East) In the meantime where may I get best info re post menopause? Have been very sedentary….eager to get heart and whole body in humming good shape. How may I contact Dr Sims directly pretty please😂!!?(would LOVE to know how to access ANYONE local with this knowledge/training- physiologist, endocrinologist, family doctor, trainer/coach etc) I’m based in Jerusalem. Thanks so much for excellent interview!👍🌿🖖.

So, I weigh 215 pounds. I’ve gained 17 of that over the last 6 months. I’m 54. Should I be eating 255 grams of protein a day?? Not questioning the importance just making sure I’m correct. I also have high blood pressure. Chicken is loaded with sodium and I’m not a fan of red meat at allllll.

You should base the protein amount on your lean body mass in Kg. Convert your weight from pounds to Kg. 215/2.2 = 97 kg. Estimate your body fat percentage and subtract the weight of your body fat from your total wt.
Or try to estimate your ideal wt for your height and do the protein calculation with your estimated ideal wt. In Kg.

Doctors in my experience have been reductionist when it comes to managing chronic pain in women, I’m post menopausal and they minimize my pain, they do not tell you what you need to do to reduce pain as in my situation frozen shoulder pain.

I’m sorry to hear that’s been your experience, there’s a spectrum of quality of doctors just like any other field but don’t give up in finding solutions
Dr. Sims is a phd in physiology, so she wouldn’t be a good resource for treating pain or a diagnosis like this, but I hope that you’re able to find a doctor that can help or a physical therapist!

Nice program! Question, how does Peak 8 compare to SIT? I currently only have access to an elliptical trainer.

Every place she is interviewed her audio is terrible! She clearly is unaware of this or doesnt care.

I had amazing supplements that supports & regulates hormones naturally. I never had any symptoms of menopause. Afterwards, I only had symptoms if I ate bad carbs, drank alcohol, etc. Educate us & less suffer

Love her. I will say though that this meat thing it may or may not be healthy for people, but it’s certainly not healthy for the animals and it’s awful for the planet. We need to move away from torture based food.

Okay here we go again! This says POST menopausal woman, but it's all perimenopausal! I'm 73, that is post, but she always mentions 40 years and woman who still menstruate, peri! I watched the whole 54 minutes hoping she would talk about us after menopause, I have watched SEVERAL of these with Stacey Sims, that climes she talks about woman my age, I have worked out from age 33, now at 72, I'd love to know what changes my body needs, and what to do, she rarely even mentions postmenopausal woman, so really I will look for someone else, sadly we are left out by pretty much everyone, Maybe she doesn't know about what woman my age should do, but stop saying post...in the topic, she never covers us! Disappointed!

I agree. I’m 63. Definitely 12 years post menopause. Been lifting weights since 30. Love Dr.Sims but would love info for changes in eating/training needed for 65+.
