Not only was that a really excellent performance and display of talent and skill- it was a very well written solo. Composition is so much more important than skill in some regards and this really shows that off by combining everything in a way that flows nicely.

Nah that was just a great solo. The funk bringing the musicality back in after the random noise then back into the solo was magnificent. The trill harmonics into the random noise set that up too. Just brilliant dude

Listen to godless times by rings of Saturn. There’s an instrumental version if you don’t like the vocals but there are some crazy parts on that song. Cafo by animals as leaders has some crazy parts too. The solo from where dreams are broken by enterprise earth is one of my new favorite solos as well. This dude’s insane but there are tons of virtuosos (especially in metal) who go unnoticed

In the late 80's, 90's, and some of the 2k's I was fortunate enough to play rhythm guitar in a band with my friend who played lead guitar this good. In our last inception together I was the one playing leads with him on bass. 😊🎉
