We get the impression that accommodation in Thailand has been quite a bit more expensive than the last time we were here. We wonder if it's a post-COVID thing or if they're trying to focus on richer visitors.
This is our first time here in Thailand so we have no idea how much prices have changed. My guess is they have gone up because of covid (being closed for so long) and due to demand. It’s been very busy in certain areas of Thailand.
It depends on where you are in Thailand tho . Keith & Dev were in Krabi which is more expensive than Bangkok (Hostel and accomdations) .Everything is more expensive in Thailand but not by much . I would say around 5%more than pre-covid era. For example Food on the street definitely more expensive . Some chooses to decreased amount instead.

@@namkun78 we noticed the same thing, Bangkok used to be the most expensive (after Phuket). Now it’s the other touristy places where you’ll pay more
They charged same price as Thai people. However, I am pretty sure. quality are more than what you paid and
It is very reasonable price.
