  • Here I demonstrate my heal alac mirage build on the golem in the Special Forces Training Area. I'm demonstrating this at a bare minimum functionality, which is why I'm using signets that don't really do much here (only increasing my damage via their passives). This is because I want to show how flexible this build is, having 2 flex utility slots at your disposal. In actual content you'd bring whatever works best for the encounter: e.g., in HT if you don't have a Ventari bubble in your squad you'd probably slot both Feedback and Mantra of Concentration. And when you have spare slots you'll probably want Crystal Sands for the added Alacrity buffer it can provide, allowing you more time in rifle. I also do not use Distortion here because I believe that should only be used in emergencies, either to save yourself from going down or to give your allies Aegis and Stability. It's always nice to have your panic button available, after all.
Now, this demonstration might seem a little unfair for some because 1) I'm using (mostly) Giver's gear instead of Harrier's for the extra survivability and 2) I'm dodging a lot of damage ticks. But I really want to push the limits of what this build is capable of from a healing standpoint. And also as a counterpoint: since I'm healing myself, I don't get all those tasty outgoing healing modifiers that everyone else gets when I'm healing them. We're talking like +55% or something on allies, so for example, those 620s that pop up whenever I summon an illusion? Other allies would be getting closer to 960. Maybe not quite enough to counteract the extra damage they're taking compared to me but it's something to note.
_Also_...notice that I'm actually using both weapons. It would be much easier to heal everyone if I camped rifle, but what good is a heal alac build if I'm not giving 100% alac uptime?
One important note I think I should mention: I'm not a very experienced Mirage player, I've been playing this build a lot lately so I can make a build video to prove to people that this is a legit heal support build, though actually making the video has proven to be quite a bit of work. There are little mistakes here and there, but I especially mess up a lot right at the end because I'm expecting the golem to die so I can start running out of the damage field but it...just doesn't.
I think the end speaks for itself. On the bottom left you can see my boon uptimes: 22.9 Might, 99% Fury, 100% Regen, 100% Protection, Quickness is from the console, 99% Alacrity, 98% Vigor, and 100% Swiftness (from Relic of Febe). An important thing to mention, however, is that my actual Might would be a bit lower in a group setting because a lot of that Might is coming from Staff autos bouncing around everywhere. And with more targets those autos would be hitting me much less often. Fury would probably be a little lower as well for the same reason, but should still be in the 95%-99% range. Your quick dps will often provide the missing Might and Fury anyway. Note that I'm only using Delicious Rice Balls and not Bowl of Fruit Salad with Mint Garnish because I am a cheapskate and won't use anything costing more than like 3 silver outside of actually difficult content. This does affect my boon duration, since I only end up with 95.66% instead of 100%, so I would actually have higher Might and Fury otherwise.
I show the build at the end, the equipment at 5:41 and the traits at 5:58.
So...does what happened at 3:05 happen to anyone else? I feel like sometimes my camera just randomly turns around for no reason. It might just be a price I pay for being a dirty double-tap-to-dodger (No, I will not stop using it, I get myself killed wayyyyy more often with a single key press dodge. Twitchy fingers and all that).
One final note on the video: I wasn't trying to censor out my character's name at 6:17 when I brought up the dps meter. This is my first time using boon table and it messed up my arcdps color settings.
As I continue working on my build video I think I'll upload some more videos of this build in action in real content. Stay tuned!
