Andersen's restaurant/bakery is the best! The city was destroyed by an earthquake in 1925 rebuilt spanish style to draw in tourists. "At 6:42 a.m. on June 29, 1925, the city of Santa Barbara was heavily damaged by a magnitude 6.8 earthquake. Thirteen people were killed and damage was estimated at $8 million."
