Very well done and thx for sharing your genuine reaction! Pause as you like, it´s your journey down the nightwish road and we will follow your pace. Well, be prepared for feeling "floored" many times on your exploration ... and to be at loss for words after hearing/seeing a nightwish life performance is a well known side effect among reactors :) Your question: Storytime or Song of Myself next? Answer: YES! ;) Anyway, we are looking forward your upcoming nightwish reactions! :D
Better to pause occasionally rather than talk over a song, as some reactors do. One suggestion: when you pause, just go back a few seconds to get back into the flow of the song.
The absolute best part about being a Nightwish fan is watching other people become Nightwish fans when they have absolutely no idea what they're about to listen to.
In case you like it harder: Yours is an Empty Hope (Wembley) -- Look who's growling The Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean (Buenos Aires) Ghost River (Wacken)
Don’t worry about the pauses - you are reacting, not just kicked-back listening to music. We are here to see what you think and your REACTION to what you are seeing/hearing. Keep it up man!
Storytime is a banger, fast paced and such a fun song. Song of myself is darker and has a very nice and heavy 2nd part. Both highly recommended. And after that Yours is an empty hope. Thanks!
One of my favorites is Phantom of the Opera (yes, that Phantom of the Opera) with Nightwish's original singer Tarja. That, of course, then leads into Floor and Dutch opera singer Henk Poort doing Phantom on the Dutch TV show Beste Zangers.
Yeaaa Nightwish is like a box of chocolates, you'll never know what ya gonna get, not one song is the same, please next Song of Myself, then Storytime then I Want my Tears Back all same concert you will get to know the sixt member of the band :)
No matter which song you choose from Nightwish, especially Wacken, you'll love them all :-) Each song is different from each other. And you didn't listen to their complex masterpieces "The Poet and the Pendulum" and "The Greates Show on Earth (Tampere). Happy to see you reacting to Nightwish so soon again. Marco is not only an awesome bass playr but also a very versatile singer. And then there is Troy, a third singer, which you hear rather seldom (till now?) but who's singing one of he new singles (Harvest) from their upcoming new album.
I'm one of the lucky ones who were at that concert. Until today one of the greatest experiences I have ever made. It was pure perfection and everytime I rewatch the concert I have goosebumps the whole time.
I love Marcos solo vocals on: Master Passion Greed and High hopes cover. Ofc, together with Floor they are a perfect match. Also, I think pausing is necessary for reaction and you've good opinions so keep it going just like you have!:D
I’m a proud member of the Nightwish Army and I love seeing new people react to Floor. If you really fancy something interesting, check out any song from End of and Era. It’s the live show with the original vocalist, Tarja. You won’t be disappointed
Nice job ! I think i have never seen someone doing such a good job on telling WHY Nightwish is special and different after only two songs listened to !
Pause when you feel you gotta pause, Im one of those who rather have your most intuitive first thoughts when theyre freshest in your mind -thats why I watch reactions, if I wanna hear the song, I listen to the song :D
Yes please! 🤘 My own preference would be Storytime first then Song of Myself. Many others may choose the opposite. Can't go wrong by doing both at some point. 🤘
Two songs in, you have over 110 still to go and a new album out in ten days! Nightwish is like an unfair supergroup. They have the best female singer...period. They have one of the best male vocalists and bassists in metal in Marco. They dont just have a songwriter, they have a composer who would be as famous as any of the Mozart's / Beethoven's if he had lived several hundred years ago. Emppu is a fantastic guitarist. Jukka on the drums is just awesome, and now they have an absolute monster in kai hato from Wintersun. Add to that a guy (troy) who can play any sort of whistle / flute / guitar / bagpipe for the celtic metal they do. Troy doubles up as singer #3 in the new album, by the way. Nightwish will just catch you out every single time. You thought everything would be like ghost love score, nope... you think most of their songs will be like romanticide, nope... the sheer range of music they put out will leave you guessing every time. Slow ballads, bouncy celtic metal, folk music, right through to metal as heavy as anything old metallica or slayer put out. hell, they even did a blues / jazz song at one point. Epic doesnt do them justice. Maybe try Song of Myself if you want another heavy one. If you want to hear Floor doing heavy metal growls, then Yours is an Empty Hope. Seven days to the wolves from Wembley is an amazing faster paced one. They have two more really long epic tracks called The Poet and the pendulum and The greatest show on Earth (24 minutes!!). If you do those, make sure to research the songs first, you will get 10x more out of them.
Great reactions to Nightwish, Floor is my all time favorite singer and Nightwish is the band I would most like to see live. Glad to see you enjoying their music. A while back a first time reaction video had said why is this the first time I'm hearing this band, why would it be anyone's first time. Well you have to start somewhere, enjoy the ride and the music. Song of myself.
This band has the full package. Brilliance in composing, while both left and right brain talents are used in creating, listening and performing. And then everyone is putting their heart in, with such an enthusiasm. If that doesn't elevate you(r soul), I don't know what type of music could do just that.
Welcome to your Nightwish journey where every song is like a turn in the road and you don't know what your going to get, but know that you will enjoy each one. Extremely talented members, every one. Tuomas, the keyboard artist, founder and soul of the band, composes and arranges most songs including lyrics, and he is a genius at involving each band member and maximizing their individual talents. Each composition by him is a surprising journey in itself. Floor, as you've seen is immensely talented as a vocalist, but also brings amazing stage presence to each song which is why I like watching their live concert videos best. Their production quality is as good as it gets. Marko and Troy, the other vocalists are uniquely different and very good in their own right. Emppu may not be as flashy as some lead guitarist, but is the fun loving presence on stage and provides many surprising riffs and solos throughout each concert. Marko, besides providing great vocal work handles bass guitar like it was a toy. Troy plays multiple instruments and I'll leave him to introduce each one to you as you view more songs. I think you will be surprised by them and how Tuomas incorporates them into his arrangements. They've also been blessed with two of the best drummers I've ever seen. Jukka, who is featured in the Wacken 2013 concert songs you've reviewed thus far, was original band mate, but left playing position in 2014 due to severe insomnia. He is an amazing talent with boundless energy. His close friend, Kai, replaced him and they haven't skipped a beat. Equally talented, Kai, has blended in very nicely. I've loved your two reactions so far and look forward to joining you on your Nightwish adventure. By the way, I'm a new subscriber and young at heart 71yr old guy from Arizona who was lead to this band in early 2019 by our 43yr old son. Have never looked back.
"Yours is an Empty Hope" - Wembley 2015 "Ghost River" - Wacken 2013 "Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean - Buenos Aires 2018 (for something showing the band as they are now). "I want my tears back now" - Buenos Aires 2018 - where Floor goes a little crazy dancing around the stage, to a lovely, upbeat song.
Thanks David for a great reaction. Please don’t change the way you react on the video’s. I love the uniqueness of all the different reactors. Keep up the good work and stay healthy! 💕🤟
I've watched your reactions all night and they're some of my absolute favorite reacts of all, especially the Nightwish ones! Not many videos catch not only the reaction to the amazing musicianship, but also the crazy joy and wonder of just finding new music that you love! Thanks for the content (+some new songs to add) and have a good one man! *Liked and subbed*
First af all... of course I'm of the Nightwish Army too.. Sorry about my english.. I'm from Argentina and I only want to say that this band is unique.. Is just a feeling.. Floor is the best singer that I hear.. In Nightwish she is the best.. Kisses from Mar del Plata.. a city by the sea.. Argentina.
Its your chanal its your reaction pause as orften as you need to. thanks for doing reactions just do both doesent matter witch one you do first. They are both epic, each in their way.
I just found you after so many reactors for years, but i have to tell you, you'r my favorit for sure. The fun you'r having made my day's. Not only Nightwish, but also you are addictive to me. Super fun to watch and listen to.
Welcome to your journey of Nightwish. It will be a great time for you, but also for us. You did it very well... I like your channel - it’s a pleasure to see your reactions. They are sooo amazing - especially live. It is always a great show. Next songs should be: Storytime, Ghostriver, Nemo, Elan, Alpenglow, ...
Welcome to the Nightwish army. I do so hope you enjoy the journey. As a fan of Nightwish from the very beginning, 24 years, I'd definitely choose Song of Myself to react to next. I don't mind the pauses cuz sometimes ya just need a moment to take it all in. So no worries. Also a fun fact, Tuomas (the keyboardist) writes and composes ALL the Nightwish music. He will sometimes do lyrical collabrorations with other members of the band, but ALL the musical composition comes from him, even the background orchestral sounds. He is a genius and will go down as one of this generations greatest composers. Also too, ALL of the other band members play in other different bands at the same time as being with Nightwish. They are all crazy talented. Marco (the bassist guitar player) has an amazing vocal range. As evidence by his Pink Floyd cover High Hopes: www.google.com/url?q=m.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3D4oEDnVeYYyM&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwiH9oWL48boAhWXXM0KHe4BASEQtwIwAHoECAsQAQ&usg=AOvVaw2XwOJRkX_Rr0byrxAq6wXb There are many many songs where Marco and Floor harmonize beautifully. I so hope you continue your Nightwish journey, continue to be amazed by their pure raw talent. So as always.. listen, appreciate, and above all else enjoy! God Bless!!!
Pausing is fine. In fact, it's a good idea to pause 2-3 times to avoid copyright issues, particularly whenever you do the Poet And The Pendulum - this song is often the target of the copyright police because some rapper sampled it and ruined things for everybody (this is why we can't have nice things). Suggestion to add to the list : The Islander - Live at Tampere if you want to hear more of Marko singing. Complete change of pace too as this is a mellow song.
Waken 2013 Song of Myself, Ghost River, Nemo I Wish I Had an Angel .... Wembley 2015 Yours is an Empty Hope Poet & The Pendulum Tampere 2015 Sleeping Sun (reccomend for a break from Heavy) The Greatest Show on Earth Buenos Aires 2018: I Want My Tears Back Slaying the Dreamer Devil & The Deep Dark Ocean
Great!) Okay, now it's definitely a Storytime! After you hear that, tell us which one is more up your alley - Storytime (less heavy, more catchy) or Romanticide ;) Bearded viking name is Marco, and he is a great singer too. He has a solo project, and a number of NW songs with him as a lead singer.
Hey! Nightwish army checking in. Welcome to the show, enjoy Nightwish and our beloved queen of metal: Floor Jansen. It won't matter what song you choose next, just go through them all, but if i could make one recommendation it would be "Yours is an empty hope" where you get to see one more side of Floor's talent. I'd tell you what it is, but i want to see your reaction when you figure it out :)
welcome to the Nighwish train, it's a long and entertaining ride and i hope you're going to enjoy it all for the long run Believe it or not Wacken 2013 was Floor's first ever show with the band, I saw them in Manchester in 2018 and trust me she's even more awesome now she's comfortable with the band and enjoying it. I'd strongly recommend The poet and the pendulum next - then look up the reasoning behind the song (interview with Tuomas - the keyboardist in particular) after the song - you'll learn a hell of a lot about the band and their past - the Wembley version in 2016 is awesome - again hearing that song live Tuomas was braught to tears during it and consoled by Emppu (the lead guitar) throughout
That whole Wacken 2013 concert from the opening song of 'Dark Chest of Wonders' to the closing song of 'Last Ride of the Day' is well worth listening to.
You're just starting your amazing ride through the Nightwish playlist! Welcome to the army! Any song from Wacken 2013 is amazing and you should react to.
I can't help but thinking you are having an easy time there, sitting in front of your computer with headphones and you can pause at any time to let it sink in and/or go back a bit to hear a passage again. Imagine yourself being at a Nightwish concert, you won't be able to put it on pause there. It will go on and on and on at a relentless pace, for about 1 hr 40 mins or so. If you are fairly close to the rail and you are rocking along like the crowd do here, no wonder people say it was the best concert they ever been to and they are completely drained and exhausted afterwards. Cheers / B.
This is powerhouse of a song. Great duetting with Floor and Marco. This is s about the heavy end of NW, but they are so versatile that they can deliver almost everything. You'll see. Thank you and be well!
Great reaction man. I'm here for the reaction to the songs and like the pauses to hear your thoughts. Like you said if you don't pause you will forget what you wanted to say, especially with Nightwish and the constant sensory overload. keep doing what your doing and enjoy.
one of the things that I think is really cool, is the public in Germany to feel that they are enjoying the whole show, without cell phones or electronics
Those two are both great, so it doesn't matter. You're going to end up doing them all anyway. It's inevitable now. I only learned about Nightwish early last year and 2019 became the Year of Nightwish. Couldn't get enough. PS- I am 65 years old and digging this band.
It's just so much fun watching your reactions, really great! I've been listening to nightwish for over 20 years now, they are truly in a league of their own!
Nice reaction! It’s impressive when a reactor takes the time to read the feedback and respond from it. As I believe others have said, no problem pausing (which is much better than talking over the parts), just do a little rewind of 5 or so seconds. Especially if it’s a part you like - chances are that if you needed to pause to talk about, we like that part too and we sure won’t mind a rewind and listening to it again. :)
Great reaction and welcome to the rabbit hole that's Nightwish! Most of us don't mind pausing, so don't worry too much about it, as someone else said it is much better than talking over it. Those that want to see the original can watch it uninterrupted on the original. We are here for the reaction after all. My suggestion would be Storytime next, it will take you to a happy place before kicking your feet out under you with Song of Myself (one of my favourites). Happy hunting!
I agree with everything you are saying about the pausing like many have said it is better to get your thoughts out when they are fresh and your can't really know the best time to pause on a first listen so I guess just go with your best guess. Thanks for your reactions I have very much enjoyed both of them. I am very glad to see you experience Nightwish for the first time similarly to how I did about 10 years back. Also one of my favorite things about them and the symphonic metal genre in general is the professionalism and skill shown in the live performances. It is the only genre where I actually tend to prefer the live performance to the studio. And Nightwish is one of the only bands I have ever actually gone out and bought a live album from.
I'm glad you will continue with your Nightwish journey, both Storytime and Song of Myself are great, your choice... Must listen to are The poet and the pendulum and The greatest show on earth... But, when you have some time, do also Epica, you'll gonna love them for sure.... Greetings from Spain
Like your reactions! Just some recommendations for the future: The Poet and the Pendulum at Wembley with lyrics (so you can understand the deeper meanings of that song). Ever Dream at Wacken (Great ballad). The Greatest show on Earth live at Tampere (Strap yourself in for a 20 minute masterpeice) If you want to hear Floor sing different genres check out her performances on Beste Zangers from last year. Especially her version of Lady Gaga's Shallow and her Phantom of the Opera duet with Henk Poort.
I just subscribed because of Nightwish. I’m 65 & I’m in the army to. 🔥One of my favorite is Phantom of the Opera with there first lead singer. I like there take on it. 🤘🏼
Got invaded by the army, I see. We are a pretty loyal following, do Nightwish, we will be here! I'm suscribing so I get notifications for the Nightwish stuff, going to go vote in the comment bellow, and will also add Ghost River to the list, to begin with.
Most reasonable viewers won't mind pausing if it's done "right", and that is quite easy to achieve with common sense. Just don't pause in the middle of phrases/verses, and especially not during long notes. That's just very basic advice in general, not aimed at you specifically, but I've seen many reactors not following this simple principle. Keep it up, like many others I too am enjoying your videos so far.
Ever Dream (from the same Wacken gig) is a solid pick. A friend described it as "a love song set to anime fight music" and it always struck me as appropriate :)
I would suggest 7 Days To The Wolves. It´s a hidden gem. Not many people react to this song and I don´t understand why. Marco and Floor sing together on another level. I still remember the first listen of that live version (from Wembley arena). I listened to it on Spotify, but I felt those emotions, even though I wasn't watching the live video. I had to pause it and process that awesomeness, because not only lyrics but the genius heavy music itself, was perfectly executed and I thought throughout the song, that it can´t get better...but as you now know a little bit about them....IT DID! And now it´s my favorite song along with Greatest Show On Earth and Poet and The Pendulum.
The bassist is Marco and he is an accomplished vocalist in his own right. Then we have Troy playing multiple instruments and also vocals. Of course there is one and only, the Queen of Metal
Don't ask why Nightwish has 3 vocalists. Ask yourself why not. ;) Just like how most of the members of Nightwish play more than one instrument. Why more than one instrument? Why not. lol
And - to go with that - Take them as Era's of Nightwish. Each has it's flavor - all good. Floor, however, is special - Check out her early work in After Forever, Revamp, and some solo work Northward as well as recent Dutch TV Beste Zangers. For the record, all three vocalists are still singing and killing it. :)
Human Nature is out! "Because of coronavirus is around us, we need good music right now", says Nightwish. "We released it earlier than planned". New album is available now! Posted from Finland 1.4.
I don't understand viewers who insist a youtuber to change his ways and methods. Everyone reacts in different ways. You do you. Let those who are lazy so listen the original soundtrack/video themselves the way they like to listen. Sure, music is awesome but the main thing in reaction videos are REACTIONS. Greetings from Finland! Storytime, Ever Dream, Song of Myself, Nemo, or either one of remaining songs in the Wacken setlist. ;)
Best method for reacting to Nightwish that I figured from watching reactors and discovering them recently and exploring their catalog myself: Keep the particularly long and complex songs listed below, if you have not watched them already, for after you have seen all the more standard ones from the 4 live shows mentioned in the numbered list: - Ghost Love Score (Wacken) 10 minutes - The Poet and the Pendulum (Wembley) 14 minutes - Greatest Show on Earth (Tampere) 21 minutes 1- Just do all the Wacken 2013 songs, they are all great 2- Then the Wembley 2015 ones that are not part of the Wacken show 3- Then the remaining songs from Tampere 2015 that were not in the previous 2 shows mentioned 4- Then the older songs from Buenos Aires 2019 that were not in the previous 3 shows mentioned 5- To see what they can do with a cover and if you like Marco's singing, watch their interpretation of Pink Floyd's High Hopes 5- Then you can explore Floor's versatility with her band ReVamp's live performances of the songs Disdain at Graspop and Wild Card at Bloodstock 6- And finally go in the deep end of the Floor talent pool by reacting to her performances on Beste Zangers in the order the episodes aired From watching a lot of reactions, in my opinion this is the most efficient order to discover the rabbit hole that is Nightwish and Floor Jansen. That should keep you busy for a while. 😀
Awesome react!! Definitely Storytime & Song of Myself, and for more on Marco's incredible voice, their rendition of Pink Floyd's High Hopes (incredible show of musicianship) and The Islander. :)

Anyway, we are looking forward your upcoming nightwish reactions! :D
Floor and Marco singing together is the best thing on the planet.
I agree.
True
The two of them singing Ave Maria♥ Marko's naughty face, him looking at Floor at the end! th-cam.com/video/WVVobqeqS8c/w-d-xo.html
Better to pause occasionally rather than talk over a song, as some reactors do. One suggestion: when you pause, just go back a few seconds to get back into the flow of the song.
Especially important with symphonic and progressive arrangements, so easy to miss layers when commentary overlaps the music.
Just a quick tip, you can use a keyboard to quickly and precisely jump backward 10 seconds (press J) or forward 10 seconds (press L).
The absolute best part about being a Nightwish fan is watching other people become Nightwish fans when they have absolutely no idea what they're about to listen to.
In case you like it harder:
Yours is an Empty Hope (Wembley) -- Look who's growling
The Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean (Buenos Aires)
Ghost River (Wacken)
Ghost River is epic!
All good recommendations! I agree.
exact my suggestion list!
Revamp is a better option to hear floor growl.....
It's probably been mentioned but Nightwish - the islander live at wacken open air, is an amazing showcase of Maarko's talents as a singer!
Every Nightwish song is full of surprises. You can literally pick any song from Wacken 2013 or Wembley for example, you'll never be desappointed.
Don’t worry about the pauses - you are reacting, not just kicked-back listening to music. We are here to see what you think and your REACTION to what you are seeing/hearing. Keep it up man!
Their song "Everdream" live at Wakken 2013 is amazing!
Storytime is a banger, fast paced and such a fun song. Song of myself is darker and has a very nice and heavy 2nd part. Both highly recommended. And after that Yours is an empty hope. Thanks!

Yes I second I Want My Tears Back. It's such a fun song.

Yes, everyone loves it when Floor windmills :)
No matter which song you choose from Nightwish, especially Wacken, you'll love them all :-)
Each song is different from each other. And you didn't listen to their complex masterpieces "The Poet and the Pendulum" and "The Greates Show on Earth (Tampere).

Oh another one already? You're living on a edge. It's a deep rabbithole an we're all mad here. Welcome.
Suggestion for next :Nightwish - Storytime.
I love Marcos solo vocals on: Master Passion Greed and High hopes cover. Ofc, together with Floor they are a perfect match. Also, I think pausing is necessary for reaction and you've good opinions so keep it going just like you have!:D
Once you find Nightwish, you can't live without it brother,! \m/
I’m a proud member of the Nightwish Army and I love seeing new people react to Floor. If you really fancy something interesting, check out any song from End of and Era. It’s the live show with the original vocalist, Tarja. You won’t be disappointed
As far as I am concerned you can pause as OFTEN as you want. If we want to hear the song uninterrupted we know where to go. Please pause and comment.
I recommend you, "The Greatest Show on Earth", live at Tampere, is a longer song, 23 minutes, but is amazing.
Probably my favorite.
Storytime or Song of Myself next ?
"Song of Myself" is harder and more edgy, so maybe Storytime is a good choice after Romanticide, as it is "more different". But both are awesome :-)
Yes please! 🤘
My own preference would be Storytime first then Song of Myself. Many others may choose the opposite. Can't go wrong by doing both at some point. 🤘
I perfer song of myself and you'll too, if you prefer heavy style
Storytime! But yeah, both are awesome lol
'Storytime', if only to break up the Wacken set. (Romanticide, GLS, Song of Myself in that order before show finale)
Two songs in, you have over 110 still to go and a new album out in ten days! Nightwish is like an unfair supergroup. They have the best female singer...period. Know the feeling "why didn't I heard of Nightwish before" and in my case I am Dutch and nver heard of Floor aaaaarrrgh
I like it when reactors pause the videos to express their immediate take on what is going on. Great job. 🤘

"Yours is an Empty Hope" - Wembley 2015
"Ghost River" - Wacken 2013
"Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean - Buenos Aires 2018 (for something showing the band as they are now).
Thank you so much
Hoopsick Reacts You’re very welcome. 😀💕🤟
Thanks for the approval
I just found you after so many reactors for years, but i have to tell you, you'r my favorit for sure. The fun you'r having made my day's. Not only Nightwish, but also you are addictive to me. Super fun to watch and listen to.
"can they go wilder" why yes, yes they can - you still aint heard nothing yet - enjoy the ride
🤘💜🤘 Cool reaction! You're gonna have a lot of fun discovering Nightwish's past & present, brother.
I appreciate the info. Thank you
Waken 2013
Song of Myself, Ghost River, Nemo
I Wish I Had an Angel ....
Wembley 2015
Yours is an Empty Hope
Poet & The Pendulum
Tampere 2015
Sleeping Sun
(reccomend for a break from Heavy)
The Greatest Show on Earth
Buenos Aires 2018:
I Want My Tears Back
Slaying the Dreamer
Devil & The Deep Dark Ocean
Great!) Okay, now it's definitely a Storytime! After you hear that, tell us which one is more up your alley - Storytime (less heavy, more catchy) or Romanticide ;)
Bearded viking name is Marco, and he is a great singer too.
I'd tell you what it is, but i want to see your reaction when you figure it out :)
welcome to the Nighwish train, it's a long and entertaining ride and i hope you're going to enjoy it all for the long run
Believe it or not Wacken 2013 was Floor's first ever show with the band, I saw them in Manchester in 2018 and trust me she's even more awesome now she's comfortable with the band and enjoying it.
Welcome to the world of Nightwish!!!! You have a lot to catch up on 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
That whole Wacken 2013 concert from the opening song of 'Dark Chest of Wonders' to the closing song of 'Last Ride of the Day' is well worth listening to.
Cheers / B.
You have just started the journey and lot of things to listen to from Nightwish. Like me 20 years ago. I'm so envious
This is powerhouse of a song. Great duetting with Floor and Marco. This is s about the heavy end of NW, but they are so versatile that they can deliver almost everything. You'll see. Thank you and be well!
And just think. That was 55 minutes in.. And ghost love score was still two songs later.
Insane physical and vocal stamina
"GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH" Live at Tampere 2015. It's long but worth it!
This is how you get the Nightwish army to follow you. Welcome for the ride. Hope you enjoy emotional roller coasters cz it’s this band’s specialty ;)
🤘🤘 Oh yeah. Looking forward to see more Nightwish reactions. Always cool to see someone to discover them. Good job!
Nightwish Army!!! That sliding note is a killer.
Haha when Marco started singing, best frames ever. Good job
Hell yeah! my absolute fave concert ever!
I always say the following sentence: - Listening to Nightwish is a path of no return ...
Like your reactions!
Just some recommendations for the future:
The Poet and the Pendulum at Wembley with lyrics (so you can understand the deeper meanings of that song).
Ever Dream at Wacken (Great ballad).
The Greatest show on Earth live at Tampere (Strap yourself in for a 20 minute masterpeice)
If you want to hear Floor sing different genres check out her performances on Beste Zangers from last year. Especially her version of Lady Gaga's Shallow and her Phantom of the Opera duet with Henk Poort.
Thank you for your great reactions. My fav to next is "Song of myself". Greetings from Tampere, Finland. Stay safe!
So jealous of you discovering Nightwish! 🤩 NWA from Québec Canada 🇨🇦 🤟
You are in for one heck of a ride. And just in time for the new album!
I just subscribed because of Nightwish. I’m 65 & I’m in the army to. 🔥One of my favorite is Phantom of the Opera with there first lead singer. I like there take on it. 🤘🏼
Story time is awesome thanks 🙏. But all nightwish songs are awesome too. Thanks 😊
Oh man... You haven't even started yet...
Buckle UP! This will be ride with Nightwish Army.
It's like every thing you mentioned you like, Nightwish immediately fed more of it to you after each pause! :D "Nice backing vocal" *Enter Marco*
The bassist is Marco and he is an accomplished vocalist in his own right. Then we have Troy playing multiple instruments and also vocals. Of course there is one and only, the Queen of Metal
nightwish live is amazing.thanks for react.
Storytime, Ever Dream, Song of Myself, Nemo, or either one of remaining songs in the Wacken setlist. ;)
That vocal slide at the end kills me every time, that’s SO hard, to slide up and down your register all in the same breath
Poet and the pendulum live in wembley and
Greatest show on earth live in tampere are must adds to your list
pause at anytime you feel like to :) good reaction. i enjoy it. cheers.
Best method for reacting to Nightwish that I figured from watching reactors and discovering them recently and exploring their catalog myself:
Keep the particularly long and complex songs listed below, if you have not watched them already, for after you have seen all the more standard ones from the 4 live shows mentioned in the numbered list:
- Ghost Love Score (Wacken) 10 minutes
- The Poet and the Pendulum (Wembley) 14 minutes
- Greatest Show on Earth (Tampere) 21 minutes
1- Just do all the Wacken 2013 songs, they are all great
2- Then the Wembley 2015 ones that are not part of the Wacken show
3- Then the remaining songs from Tampere 2015 that were not in the previous 2 shows mentioned
4- Then the older songs from Buenos Aires 2019 that were not in the previous 3 shows mentioned
5- To see what they can do with a cover and if you like Marco's singing, watch their interpretation of Pink Floyd's High Hopes
5- Then you can explore Floor's versatility with her band ReVamp's live performances of the songs Disdain at Graspop and Wild Card at Bloodstock
6- And finally go in the deep end of the Floor talent pool by reacting to her performances on Beste Zangers in the order the episodes aired
From watching a lot of reactions, in my opinion this is the most efficient order to discover the rabbit hole that is Nightwish and Floor Jansen.
That should keep you busy for a while. 😀
All this!
Plus bonus: for even more Marko you could then proceed with his old band Tarot or his solo side project stuff.
Awesome react!! Definitely Storytime & Song of Myself, and for more on Marco's incredible voice, their rendition of Pink Floyd's High Hopes (incredible show of musicianship) and The Islander. :)
Ha! Welcome to our wonderful Nightwish cult ❤️
A new recruit! Welcome. You might want to have subtitles onscreen to get a handle on the poetry as well
My three favourite Nightwish songs; romanticide, wishmaster from Tarja era and shoemaster from their latest album
Shoemaker ofcourse 😄
The Poet and the pendulum live @ wembley. Such an amazing song!!!
I love Nightwish🇫🇮! "My walden" live from Tampere, please! Different again... It's your channel, do what you want to do👍❤️.
Welcome to the Nightwish Army
No way back now. We have got you hooked !!
Hi from Austria, i watch all your reacts to nightwish aganin. Thx for doing them
