Bangladesh student group gives government 48 hours to meet their demands

Protesters in Bangladesh have given the government 48 hours to meet their demands. Student groups say they will not protest during this period, but urge the government to withdraw the curfew and restore the internet. Protests in the country initially started against reserved job quotas that protesters argued should be awarded on merit. Political analyst Shoaib Ahamed weighs in.

Bangladesh's current government's attempt to repress ordinary students with helmeted police force is not right at all.
