DNV have witnessed the bunkering operation for the LNG fuelled platform supply vessel Viking Energy. This video follows the process from tank, through connection, inerting, LNG transfer, and disconnection.
These ships use pressurized tanks, and the bunkering is done by spraying the liquid in from the top of the tank. This spray cools down the vapour and liqufies some it, so overall pressure is not increasing in the tank. No vapour is emitted to atmosphere.

Venting LNG is prohibited by maritime laws, the vapour from the tanks can be used as fuel for burning in steam generators.
