Dual lance is still so broken, developers obviously dont care about the game at all. Lances hitbox registers free hits from 360 degress...you dont even need to be facing the right direction

I've been watching these videos for a few months now and still the thing that impresses me the most is Chase's ability to navigate the menu so quickly in fights
This reminds me of the absolute dumpster fire of a build I made in my first playthrough. Every time I play a soulslike I gravitate towards the bonks, not just any bonks, the BIG bonks. So of course I used the giant crusher the moment I found it. While using it was fun after a while I craved more. So I asked myself the unholy question: "What if I had two?" The problem with using 2 giant crushers is the weight. It is nearly impossible to carry two of those beasts, have a fast roll and have high poise(which you need because it takes at least 2 years to take a swing with these weapons). However I realized quickstep/BHS does not care about your equipment load. It's still just as fast even if you have they fattiest fat roll there is. And thus, the what I like to call, "ICBM" build was born... Oh, the joys I had. One hitting flimsy casters who felt so safe thinking they were outside of my bonk radius. Only to BHS jump attack them in their face. I can only imagine the horror they must have felt, seeing both the rock and the hard place approaching them at lightning speed.
They do :) Or at least all invaders interpret it that way. Deep down in their dark hearts, the hosts know this is a fact as well. That's why most hardcore invaders celebrate a gank quit out like a win. When you think about it, the inconvenience for the host is about on par with a death; they have to re-open the game, pre-game, and re-summon before they can get their gank up and running again.
It's funny how no matter the build, at one point or another its the Cleanrot sword that's the hero of the day. I think St. Trina's Torch would make for an excellent emergency option instead.
I have heard AMAZING things about one of the weapons in this game, but honestly i dont play around with some weapons until i see your showcase of it so i can get an idea of how a good player would use it... but you still havent done a st trinas torch showcase 😢

When you get the deep root depths invasion you should try luring people to one of the two rune bears down there and seeing how they do. I didn't discover they were down there till around ng+6 and they gave me a good fight for a random mob just around the map
I met that "Beatriz DS1" person before in the first invasion. I helped them with Mohg using my Guts build. It's really cool to see players you've encountered showing up in other people's videos or screenshots lmao.
Chase I’ve been watching you for so long and you literally become the best at every souls game you touch. Do you have any plans for another ash of war build? I’d love to see a build based on just charge attacks and standing still 😈🙏🏽🔥
I think using the Deaths Poker could be a good weapon to pvp with its unique skill is really cool to play around and it could be a deathrite bird build if you want to go into the design of.
if it's fun to know, you can tell if it's a host or a phantom by the dust effects that come out from them as they die, if it's a phantom, it'll be orange, if it's a host, it'll be gray
Any thoughts around doing hybrid builds Chase? At RL150 and higher, youre able to get 54 strength and 50+ faith or int, which can yield some insane AR with electriy armament or scholars armament, i.e. 800 AR Shamshir

@@nathreetimesnineequalstwen7172 small quick weapons typically work best. Hand axe is small and fast so it's probably their fav option. Daggers are great
In dark souls 3 if you disconnected on purpose during a multiplayer session, you would actually get an item that made it so you couldn’t summon anyone until you beat the game.
As the grafted dragon can deal fire and physical damage it’s perfect for a build with high strength and faith meaning it’s the perfect Chad weapon (day 13)

16:53 I can explain what he was going for there. He wanted to use Flame, Grant Me Strength to buff the fire damage of Cursed-Blood Slice. Unfortunately for him, he underestimated the distance between you two when trying to buff himself and got punished for it.
I saw somewhere that stated crimson amber med +2 is the equivalent of 8 vigor levels. Would it be more optimal to ditch erdtree +2 for crimson amber and spend the extra 8 points on endurance?

Moon+ice mage build! The moon sword spell is good enough to be your bnb and there are some tricky mixups.

it is a highly meta vortex setup best used with commander's standard and cinquedea on a str build
at one point i was running the banished knight’s halberd with an offhand handaxe and it was really nasty. highly recommend giving it a shot

for some reason I was never able to make greatsword combo work. they always roll from r1 after jump. must depend on connection or smth.
