This halberd currently the most broken sleep build the only problem is to farm the greese that u can solve with duplicating ur item..

I love sleep as a status effect, it can be very useful, making your opponent sleep getting an extra hit or two. It can also make them panic as well. My personal favorite source of sleep is St. Trina's Torch, you should try it.

R1 - > throwing knife headshot -> R1
So, since you can sleep your enemy in two hits, you can make
R1 - > throwing knife headshot -> R1 -> Greyoll's Roar
R1 - headshot - R1 - stone of gurranq - wrath of gold - scarlet aeonia then lol. (based on old gigathiccas combo video, idk if still works)

Since sleep and madness resistance scale with focus, I think if they have high sleep resistance(3 hits) that means howl of shabriri can't trigger madness on them.
This video was very relaxing. Wouldn't mind a part 2 with the same build.

Hey, I was that Zidane guy in the cosplay (what can i say? Love the armor and the swords slap....in other peoples hands than mine xD) and my friend was Blood Witch Rose. He's watched you for a bit and he introduced me to you and to say that I'm surprised is something else. Never thought I'd end up in a TH-cam vid other than for meme factor xD That build looks fun tho and it was tough to go against as a colossal weapons build. I thought I'd get hit with more of those spells after you put me to sleep but I got lucky to dodge. And uh...yeah. I'm a stubborn bastard with the rolling. I'm too used to how I did invasions in Dark Souls 2 and 3.
Been watching your videos again after a few years of taking a break. It feels like you've gotten even better than before and it's ridiculous. Absolutely toying with everyone. Loving the build variety as well.
Gotta say, this is one of those builds that feels genuinley unfair. Like, sleep in general feels pretty crappy in PvP, but getting slept into a one shot incantation? That's gotta feel pretty bad.

Little tip for using howl of shabriri after sleeping someone, you can tell whether theyre going to get madness or not by how quickly you put them to sleep. Sleep and madness resistance is both based on focus, so theyre always equal. So if you sleep them in 2 hits, you should catch them with the madness too

I noticed you do a lot of hard swaps during many of your builds. A light weapon which also inflicts sleep for this build would be a perfect soft swap! St. Trina's Torch only weighs 3.0!! It would be a perfect soft swap from that slow halberd right into a speedy sleepy flame of sleep.

I’ve been sleeping on doing a build like this for a while.
Ive been using this build for weeks its great. Rot Grease and Freezing Grease is great as well.
Burn o flame imo is so underrated ;), especially because the time theyr launched upwards is time to setup heal etc. generally the first thing they do when they land is roll, meaning it chains again onto something else, burn o flame followed by greyrolls for eg is monstrous. In a small enclosed area you can even chain cast charged burn oflame while enemies basically roll into walls until death.
Can also work very well with ironjar aromatic.
I played this build for a long time, it’s actually pretty fun. The halberd’s raw damage is low, but once you get a feel for who sleeps in 2 and who sleeps in 3, you can really nail people. That being said, I used to play this with a parry shield, and Chase never used the weapon ability, which has decent hyper armor.
Chase that was a fun video to watch. I watch ur videos everyday but this was filthy!!!!! The roar is so nasty hahah

Finally someone has made my sleep build. You can land Bloodflame Talons and catch flame multiple times cause of the stun. Sometimes i combo that into Stone of Gurrang.

Quick, someone find a true combo with St. Trina’s Torch
Chase, for your information, sleep actually seems to upgrade the hitstun on certain attacks. This allows bloodflame talons to combo not only into O’Flame, but also into FULLY CHARGED O’Flame, which will typically oneshot even with extremely tanky setups. There are also other combo routes involving stone of gurranq if you want to mix in some unga.
All greese upgrade hitstun.. N didnt matter cause sleep proc stun for 2sec..n i hope u know the different between get stuned n hit stun

im still 100% sad that theres no item like the giants seeds that enables 50% friendly fire for the host and reduces red phantom friendly fire by 50%
I really hope the DLC gives us more options for sleep weapons and maybe even a sleep incantation

But that should come with a nerf to both Sleep and Madness build up and mana depletion should be removed.

I've been inching towards the 200 level pvp and it's been pretty awesome so far. Doing a faith int build and start out with elden stars and stars of ruin for all the panic and then close in with carian piercer. More pvp kills than I've had in a long time.
