I was under the impression they wouldn’t monetize ai generated content, such as like my videos of lullabies so I stopped. Can you confirm? Another influencer made a video saying the content isn’t original enough for monetizing.
Not really. Originality is not determined by ai generation or not. YT hates ppl recycling, reusing, or even stealing content. That, they likely won’t monetize. From their terms:
If you’re making money on TH-cam, your content should be original and authentic. This means that we expect your content to:
Be your original creation. If you borrow content from someone else, you need to change it significantly to make it your own.
Not be duplicative or repetitive. Your content should be made for the enjoyment or education of viewers, rather than for the sole purpose of getting views.
If u do that, doesn’t matter if u use AI or not (as of now)
Lastly, ur videos are cool and have potential. If that’s what u like creating, u shouldn’t stop. Focus on having better titles and thumbnails is my suggestion. Clearly people are watching ur vids and enjoy them.
Content creation should come from a place of loving what u do and having an opportunity to monetize. If those two are true, making videos can be very lucrative.
