You weren't broke because you got that fight in you, which makes you rich. That fighter in you will take you far. I wish I had that , I allowed fear to rule my life and I'm afraid to leave my tiny apartment. You found a way and acted on the opportunity. I had opportunities come and go and make no movement. Their are times I wish I could leave my routine life and be free to create and build which is my passion. I believe I can learn to fix anything but I.....choose to stay stuck. I'm stuck paying bills, high rent, car payments, and I have no friends or girlfriend . No kids to leave a legacy. I never had big goals. I grew up struggling with my mom in Bahamas, later moved to the states , still struggling. I have poor man dreams and goals. Anyway please don't pray for me just be an example for me . You sound like me, you let fear hold you back. Since you know it's fear that stops you feel the fear and do it anyway. You are stopping you, nothing else. Change your situation NOW by doing what you want to do a little bit everyday. As long as you're still alive you can still do it.
If you single with no kids you definitely can save a lot of money. No excuse.

Good beginners advice. Remember you can ger rid of an overdraft account if you are overspending. Also for credit cards, try putting your most of your check in to one card. From there you keep doing that until that card is paid off. Splitting bill among 3 accounts is not the best. Open a high yield as mentioned. This is only the beginning. A CD is another great way to increase your score and have an asset. Definitely start a side hustle.

I’m a much slower learner, which is why it’s been difficult for me to be an employee and perform tasks under someone else’s watch and thus put myself into a financial struggle. I didn’t really grasp your message until the 10:58 minute mark and it hit me all at once. Sure, most parts seemed like an overwhelming jumble of information being thrown at me, but making money in my sleep is something I HAVE to do for the sake of earning a living and reaching which I thought I’ve been unable to do.

Thanks for this! Due to family issues, I’ve found it very hard to say “no” and set boundaries with others that needed help-especially family members. Fast forward to today and I’m starting over again. The best advice is to invest in yourself FIRST because most people wouldn’t do the same if roles were reversed. Help when you can but know when to draw a line! Moving into my car this weekend and starting my journey to financial freedom…Only one way to go now and that’s up!

I'm 28, and just discovered you now. Thank you. I learned about financial freedom in 2018, but was in an abusive marriage, and all my decisions were being fought against. I was able to display my value, and make good money, but that's as far as I could get. Then the company went bankrupt, and I was back at square 1. A month later, ready to die after the abuse escalated, I chose to run away. I was homeless, and couldn't even care for my son anymore. I ended up losing him because I was unable to fight in court, or keep my head straight. But people helped me to continue living and fighting. The divorce cleared 2 weeks ago, and now I have a clear path ahead: my own. I get to choose. I have already been working on piece 2; rebuilding my good habits while healing from the pain. Now, I've been working on piece 3, studying drop-shipping online. This video has helped me to organize those thoughts better. None of it is new information to me, but the way you clarify it all and show exactly how to approach these challenges gives me great confidence in my future! Great confidence that I can be the best father ever in this crazy world! I'm working my 15/hr now, and I'm frugal, thanks to FPU. I know how to manage and not overspend. But a plan forward is exactly the next step. Thank you so much for this, and sharing your story! I'm a black man who chose crime in my younger years, and chose to turn my life around to be a new man. My former record makes all of this extra hard for me, but your ant analogy is perfect. My ex-wife chose to refer to my past to get her way and drag me down every time I knew we were making the wrong choices. She was genuinely someone holding me back, and unfortunately, the courts didn't help me show that. My record was louder, and I didn't even get a chance to present the abuse. But that's all done. No one is holding me back anymore. I will become the ant! I will find my way forward! I'm not the man I was all those years ago. I became a great husband, and was always a great father. Now, I get to be the best me, and the best father as well! I look forward to seeing what happens next in my life. I've brought myself out of the bog before, like the ant. I was smashed, but I'm still crawling! I will get that cube of sugar! I will refine my value, focus on stability, and gain my freedom!

i love this video! i’m currently within my year of building up the experience of stabilizing my energy. i’ve realized that any opportunity that doesn’t allow you to ground your roots of gifts, talents, knowledge, and wisdom within the center of it is simply a temporary solution breeded to get you by for now. anything that doesn’t allow you to build up the experiences of your legacy with these values equates to a temporary solution. i’ve been looking at temporary solutions like they’re permanent. thank you for the video!

Awesome video Ive actually started reading think and grow rich a week ago few months ago I was on the verge of being homeless because of the cost of living and rent increase. I got to the point where I was sick of being broke all the time now I've found and eliminated all unnecessary spending on everything I don't use paid all debt living below my means in a way that feels like I'm not giving up anything if that makes sense now I'm saving money and building up an emergency fund. I am glad you pulled yourself out of your situation

@@blessingezechukwu1355 I would suggest going through all your records bank statements and digital wallets find out where your money is going. Most people live paycheck to paycheck and have nothing saved or left due to forgotten unnecesary expenses. So learning where your money is going and eliminating all the unnecesary expenses is crucial for savings. Consider trying to lower your your other expenses where possible example. I buy store brand groceries because they are cheaper I get more food out of it and I don't feel like I'm giving up anything start with those vest of luck 😀

Thanks for these great tips that I’m definitely going to employ for myself! But one thing I’m surprised you didn’t mention is the power of networking. Having great social skills is the common denominator behind all wealthy people, they understand how to communicate effectively, build relationships and see all interactions as potential opportunities. ‘No man is an island’.
Nobody cares about your skills if you can’t market yourself.
Majority of the most highly successful people are often extroverted, as a mostly introverted person who struggled with social anxiety (and still does to some extent, lol) this was a hard pill to swallow, but once I realized it was holding me back I started chipping at the reluctance to socialize more frequently.
Nowhere near wealthy but it’s a step in the right direction.
mmm, beautifully clarified, i definitely will admit as someone who used to be introverted that the moment that i was forcefully pushed out into the world due to my circumstances i became confident within my approach of interacting, sharing my values, and truth with others. being able to present your values is definitely a gargantuan portion of developing space for the existence of their security.

I deliberately worked customer service jobs to tackle the shyness/anxiety. Rough adjustment period but eventually paid off with increased confidence in communication and as you said less fear of expressing yourself and beliefs.
That’s me! I’m very shy and an introvert. I don’t really like putting myself out there but I know we have to face our fears. Or else we’ll never get out of that feeling of being stuck!

Yea Navy federal gave me a really high limit. I applied and was denied at first so I got a *VRI TOKEN* , and I was approved for a capital one. The limit was so small lol but I took it and worked on it. Because if that it helped my credit and I believe that’s what made me finally get approved for navy fed with such a high limit. they're still working on increasing the capital one since it was so low. All in all I’m satisfied.
