  • This Ohio to Erie Trail video highlights experiences visitors can enjoy on the scenic 326-mile trail linking the Ohio River in Cincinnati to Cleveland on Lake Erie. The trail traverses four major cities, numerous quaint small towns, and miles of pastoral and wooded countryside.
The Ohio to Erie Trail is an iconic American trail that is primarily on rail-trails and canal towpaths. Ohioans and out-of-state trail visitors experience the natural beauty and friendly people of the Buckeye State on a bike, hike, run, walk, or geocaching for a few hours, a weekend, or a multi-day adventure. The trail is a pathway to discover the charms of small-town Ohio and the wows of Ohio’s big cities.
The Ohio to Erie Trail is a gateway to the Great American Rail-Trail, a nearly 4,000-mile developing trail that will connect the country from Washington, D.C., to Washington state. The trail is an important link in the Industrial Heartland Trails Coalition 1,500-miles-plus multi-use trail network crossing 51 counties in four states-Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio and New York.
Funding for the Ohio to Erie Trail video came from the Ohio to Erie Trail Fund and the TourismOhio Ohio Find It Here Co-Op Advertising Program. The video was produced by Blue Skies HD Video & Film Productions, LLC.

Love the Ohio to Erie. I’ve done a portion but hope to do the whole thing in 2021 on an epic adventure to bike tour the C&O/Gap Trails from DC to Pitt then shuttle up to Cleveland to ride to Cinci all in 16-17 days. 🤙💜🚲🙌

Looks like a really nice trail. I need to check this trail out at some point. I already rode 5K miles in Florida, it's time to get out and explore other states trail systems. 😊

Lot of history on this as the trail rides alongside the Ohio Canal system occasionally you will see sandstone benches where the mule leaders would take a break also there are little rest areas for hikers and bikers that are shacks where you can park and eat a snack refresh yourself things like that

I rode 94 miles from Reynoldsburg to Fredericksburg in two days. I rode portion of the Ohio to Erie trail. I am training to do the whole thing next year.
