as much as i already enjoyed z+a, this album really has no business being this good. one of the best albums of the decade already i have no shame in saying
Greetings from Ukraine, thank you for supporting us from being very far away) Thanks to your channel for couple years I find many new interesting little-known bands. Zeal & Ardor is a real gun, on repeat. Check out the following albums, these are my steals from 10+ years of listening to hardcore: 1. 'SABELLA - DOG DAZE or EP Perrenial (BAND OF THE CENTURY, album reaction will be nice) 2. Before I Turn - Claustrofobic 3. Exotic Animal Petting Zoo - Tree of Tongues 4. Witness - EP Downcast 5. Arcane Roots - Melancholia Hymns 6. Crooks UK - Are We All the Same Distance Apart 7.Barracks - Ghosts 8. Dirty $prite - $treetcrawler 9. Glasslands - Pariah 10. Good Tiger - A Head Full Of Moonlight 11. Wovenwar - Honor Is Dead 12. Sylar - EP Deadbeat 13. The Air i Breathe - Great Faith In Fools 14. Black Peaks - All That Divides 15. Like Vultures - Obsessed 16. Nailwound - Dog Eat Dog 17. Centiment - Streets of Rage
Had no f@cking idea they were metal. I thought they were folk rock 😅🤷 *Edit - that was f@cking phenomenal!!! Currently going thru their entire catalog and I think I have a new favorite band!
@@wheelsofmercury and I return to nothingness (the song) has a very similar vibe. Happy sounding melodies just makes it so good. Listen to the Palms while sitting on my deck at the lake is an amazing feeling.
sounds interesting. dont wanna get hung up on technicalities, but i dont really hear black metal here. genres are hard to define ofc, but i dont hear the typical riffs, tremolo picking, monotonous songstructure, wailing vocals or other stuff that would point towards blackmetal. sounds more like groove/death to me idk. anyway, like i said, sounds interesting edit: ok, later in the video there are parts like 3:45 where i hear it too
Why even use such names as gospel metal, when there is nothing remotely similar to gospel in this music? I'm not saying the music is bad, but this multiplication of metal genres is getting ridiculous.
This will absolutely make my top 10 this year; such an interesting album.
🤘🤘🤘

Zeal & Ardor is seriously slept on…… they have 3 vocalists by the way
super sick you checked out Zeal & Ardor. Stranger Fruit is for sure my favourite by them
My favorite too, is epic 😔🤝
Stranger Fruit is so good, although I prefer this one.
Götterdämmerung is still the most headbanging song :D
This vocalist could cover a Left Behind song, then right after, cover Tennessee Whisky. Love it.
🤔
Love that you checked out the album, Z&A are so unique and deserve more attention!
"He sounds like Hozier a little bit", suddenly I realize why I love the band so much
Check Out "Stranger Fruit" by Zeal & Ardor.
This is such a great album. I love their meshing of sounds. It’s brilliant
FINALLY, THIS ALBUM IS SO GOOD
Saw them open for Opeth + Mastodon, their energy and prese be was great on stage!
🤘🤘🤘
Same. I saw them in Denver. It was badass! Such a great set
Saw this show in LA. SOOOOOO GOOD

I caught you and run were SO fucking heavy live. Honestly one of the best shows I've ever been to, in fact possibly the best.
Yo thank you for allowing off this album. I never would have found it otherwise!
YES! I love this album! Im so glad you decided to check it out! Manuel is so cool.
I wonder why 'Götterdämmerung' just reviewed by one reactor... Its the most underrated band out there!
If you want to hear some more weird, upbeat black metal, try the band Violet Cold. The song "Pride" is very good IMO
The Deathgaze song Emersion sounds a lot like Deafheaven but better. This is definitely my favorite album of the year for sure
Most innovative metal album of the year for sure. Incredible 🤘🏻
Enjoy this album a lot out of nowhere, and I’m not traditionally a black metal fan, but this is new and exciting twist on it
Had no f@cking idea they were metal. I thought they were folk rock 😅🤷

1:53 in chat "i ain't going back again" lmfaooo it does sound like King 810
You never listen to happy black metal? You never listen to Deafheaven then.
A great happy sounding black metal album would be The Palms of Sorrowed Kings by Obsequaie.
^THIS. Such an interesting mix of styles Tanner Anderson has going on with that project.

🤘🤘🤘
Album cover made me think he was listening to run the jewels
This whole album slaps
I can't stop listening to it
@@bogdanhxc saaame!
It’s a masterpiece
this Band is the only way, to listen to Metal while my Wife Drives our Car. 😂
😂😂😂
So this dudes...Black Metal, Metalcore, traditional american music...very interesting sound they got
You gotta go back and listen to their previous album Stranger Fruit. I think it's a lot better of an album overall.
Here from the future. Any love for the new Zeal and Ardor album GRIEF?
One of my favorite bands of the past decade.
You needa check out Cohens new song HINDSIGHT it's fire one of my favorite songs this year.
🤘🤘🤘
Void of vision into the dark next??
I want to listen to the full reaction on Patreon but your page won’t load anything

Allt the deep blue silent 🤘 pretty pretty please😊
Saviour - Tidal Wave
Hey man, would love to see your reaction to the song Tidal Wave by Saviour.
I wouldn't really call this "gospel" but I know what you mean. 😂
why does it sound like…swag metal at some points?
React to the new messugah album immutable
Ggggoooooo booooy
🤝
Amazing album, but a bit disjointed here and there, like some moments/songs in there felt like they didn't belong, although they were great
Greetings from Ukraine !
I see our flag! Thanks for the support man ! \m/
He is Ukrainian
🤘🤘🤘
Emo black metalcore?
That album cover is very questionabe....
Baphomet hands
No

No hate, this sounds cool, but guys. This is NOT black metal.
