Paul's boys should give him a big embrace one day for everything he has taught them and will continue to educate them. Life in general, not just mechanical.
WOW!!!!! I am a materials engineer, that asphalt crew went WAY above and beyond!!! I've worked with dozens of asphalt crews and I've never seen one go that far to do a good job. You really should give them a shout out as that kind of dedication to quality is not seen often. Great video Fab Rats!
Does anyone else ever marvel at the talent Paul brings here and his family gets to learn from him and entertain us while doing so ! Kudos to the fab rat gang!
Wow that was FAST! Good working crew to make Grandma comfortable and clean-up. Congratulations FabRats and Chad Fab. Your dedicated work and creative problem solving is always fun to watch. Your work ethics and mechanical skills are entertaining and TH-cam GOLD.
Fwiw Jace I've had a Dodge problem for over 40 years and have owned my 'ol Ramcharger 4x4 for 16 of that. {410" stroker LA with a late model 8HP70 eight speed. It's awesome fun to drive.} My problem began back in 1981 with a 383/4spd '70 Challenger.
Ain't a thing wrong with Jace liking Mopars! I hope he gets his Durango. I had a 2001 Durango that had 278,000 miles on it when the trans went out. Engine was still running strong and I wasn't afraid to drive it anywhere! Best Mopar I've ever owned and I've owned many over the years.
I've had a lot of Mopars over the years too. First was a 49 Dodge with a 3 on the tree semi-automatic. Had a couple of push button automatics and a 313 hemi. Present one is an o6 Caravan. First magic wagon was an 84 Voyager with 2.2 and 5 on the floor. Only new one was a 67 Satellite. My 54 caused me the most grief and expense.
I like em too. had an R/C with the 5.2 and 727 that made it to 280k and was absolutely beat on every time it left the driveway. 97 ram that is gaining on 300k that my dad still drives. 99 Durango that had about 315k when it was just done. Dodge is easy for folks to make fun of, but I've had good service from them.
Congratulations on the win. There were so many cool builds and wonderful people, but Paul and Chad had a vision that we all share of an old Willys Wagon being the coolest thing ever.
Jace got a nice ride, way back in the day I bought a brand new 1966 Plymouth Belvedere with a 426 dual quad Hemi and 4 on the floor coolest car I ever owned.
Jace you seem to have an amazing ability to find cars and trucks. Should have a business helping us in the rust belt find vehicles that are restore able.
I would have been mad about them driving the roller on my new concrete. Jace has good taste in trucks and have a great shop to work out of he will have a hellcat something one day. Lack of service is what kills every car, there are not many bad cars just bad owners
It's good to see the cement! I stopped by 2 years ago in December, and didn't dare to go down the driveway to the rat shack because I was in a rear wheel drive Chrysler 300, and it WAS MUDDY!
Jace is young and living the good life. Wheeling and dealing is a great way to get a vehicle you want. He's got an awesome Ol' man with a shop to help him out too.
Thats a Sweet Little CAT!! Used to have a John Deere with the front end loader, box blade and rear mower deck. Man I loved that tractor!! It did everything I asked of it and more without blinking an eye!! If tractors had eyes....
Hey my black 4runner is rare.y dirty, I use maguire dry wash and wax on it as needed. Spray it on wipe it off, perfect black vehicle takes maybe 5 minute as
I have a Dodge problem as well. 73 Challenger, 2010 Charger R/T (great car), 2016 Charger R/T (total lemon too many issues to list), 2020 Durango R/T. Durango already has a blown motor mount at 57k. Pretty sure I am going to be done with Dodge. But I said that after the last Charger. Don't seem to learn my lesson. Though guess if Paul was my Dad he could do the motor mounts for me. Cost me $1700. Mostly labor.
I don't think he's gonna like a Durango,I've heard nothing but bad things about those. Thanks for the video guy's and CONGRATS ON THE ON X WIN PAUL AND CHAD. 👏
Hes in the best situation for something like that. He has all the tools and resources to fix any issues that may arise and create a great vehicle that will last a long time. All vehicles can be great if the common issues are fixed early.
One of these days I want to see Paul's boys give him a big hug for all the stuff that he's taught them and will continue to teach him. Not just mechanical but life in general.
I’m really enjoying Cooper’s commentary while filming he’s starting to relax and it’s great. His remark about replacing the PCV valve to prevent blowing the rear main seal is just good advice. God bless to all your family and crew. 😇
Ha... I saw the pavement in a video a week or so ago 😂 Gravel looks good... but another truckload might be even better 🙂 Black isn't just a dirt magnet... but an oven in the hot sun too 🥲
Don't let em get to ya Jase. I also have a Dodge problem. I've got four of them my whole driveway is Dodge. My mom owns one and so do both of my sons. When everyone is over there all over the place!😂
Saw the blacktop in another video and wanted to complement you on the foresight of the mountable curb you had poured. Keep the ground level below the top of the curb and you won't need to edge it untill it fills with soil creep in about 5 to 10 years 👽🗿👽🗿👽
My ex was that way. I never knew what car I was going to be driving. I loved the '56 Ford Sunliner convertible but it went the way of the rest. I never did get my dream car tho which was a '57 Chevy🙂.
Hey Paul, great videos and also CONGRATULATIONS on the OnX offroad Willy’s win !!!! How come we rarely see the Tacoma anymore, first time I saw you was on Matt’s channel wheeling the Taco…I’m guessing about 3-4 years ago, been hooked on Fabrats since !!
First time commenter long time viewer 😆. I love starting the morning with some coffee and the FabRats🐀. I just want to say, I have a feeling Jace is going to move up to not a Durango but a Viper. Durango's are great sleepers no problem with that at all. Peace huys.
Rollover and Roof Crush Risks in the Dodge Durango A major safety concern in the Durango is its relatively narrow wheelbase compared to its increased height. Especially, after the addition of another row of seating, the height of the Durango raised the center of gravity in the vehicle. This heightened center of gravity is more likely to pull downwards in a tight turn or after a vehicle is tipped due to a collision. If a vehicle does roll over due to a high center of gravity, the passengers inside rely on the strength of the roof support beams to prevent the roof from crushing in on the vehicle. These accidents occur when the roof support beams can’t hold up the sheer weight of the vehicle. When the beams collapse, the bulk of the vehicle falls into the passenger compartment, often leaving motorists with severe head and neck problems or injuries.
Now that was an easy rear main seal to replace ones I've done before you almost had to hang the governor just to replace it that was just totally cool how that was designed
Have your son go to a dodge dealership and talk to the mechanics. He will change his mind on a Durango. I worked for Dodge, and the last thing anyone should buy is a Dodge. Really, they are not built to last more than 6 years. Wiring and plastics will degrade, remember Dodge is a broke company and use the absolute cheapest materials they can find.
I drive a 97 ram truck and the passenger side visor clip broke about a year ago 😮 I'm not a Dodge guy either but I can still work on the pre 2000 models.
Good morning fabrats. I would love to have a nice hot cup of coffee or tea with all of you in the morning. All I see you guys drinking is soda in the a.m. That's just weird. I'll be stopping by with a big fat pot of Coffee for everybody in the a.m.. ❤
I noticed in Landon’s transmission video you had the driveway done. Now you can start at the shop doors and do burnouts all the way up the hill and snow removal will be a breeze this year.
I have the same problem Jace has...it's definitely a Dodge problem. Ohh what a wonderful problem to have. Mine is advanced enough that I even have a Roadrunner Superbird tattoo on my right arm. He'll be fine. Great video as always
They do surprisingly well. At least my 07 did. It was supposed to be a fair weather car, but the GF at the time didn't want to ride in my Ramcharger from NY to AC on New Years Eve.
"Dodged' a bullet. We see what you did there Paul. Nice looking ride Jace. Be Very cautious the winter, so it'll be straight paneled come spring. Those aren't known as snowmobiles.
On those Dodge charger and Chrysler 300 they have a carrier bearing. If it goes out buy the one they comes in 2 pieces. Dont get the one piece one. They are a little bit of a headache to do if you get the one piece bearing. Just a heads up. Google them and dont buy the 300 dollar one they have them for cheeper. The one peice is lile 35 bucks. The 2 piece is like 70 or less i think
Paul, it's nice to see you teaching the younger generation how to repair vehicles so they can flip them to eventually be able to obtain the dream vehicle they really want.
Tell Jace to look up the stories of Indiana State Police and Merrillville Indiana Police with the Durangos. Stelantis and Chrysler are having some major issues with critical failure in engines. Just a warning.

I wonder whether Jace and Landon realize how blessed they are to have a father who will teach them a very good trade. 🙏 I always enjoy your content.
bot? almost word for word the comment before
@@TheJomoe1the only bot here is you 😅😅😅😅😅

It’s because they was being watched 👍
Congratulations to Paul and Chad for their OnX win! Great job! Well done!
Nice to have a shop, a Challenger lift, a DAD who knows things....!
Having the knowledge and ability to buy injured vehicles and properly fix them can be very prosperous, Good work guys..
Does anyone else ever marvel at the talent Paul brings here and his family gets to learn from him and entertain us while doing so ! Kudos to the fab rat gang!

The smile on Paul's face when Jase started to light em up at the door says he raised his kids right 😂😂

My brother and I have visited for the past three July's. You've made a lot of changes. It's looking really good.
Paul is the perfect shade tree mechanic who teaches his boys how to fix the junkers they bring into the shop. Good video and good content!
Still pumped for you and Chad. You listened to the instructions and did it.
Jace you seem to have an amazing ability to find cars and trucks. Should have a business helping us in the rust belt find vehicles that are restore able.
Picked up a super clean 06 300C last year. Car puts a smile on my face every time. Handles good too for what it is. Jace has taste!
Congratulations on winning the on X build. You guys definitely deserve it.
I really like the dodge charger that is a nice car
You sure make it look easy. The lift really seams to make all difference.
@Jase as a person who had 5 diff style Durango's save up for the Track-Hawk you wont be disappointed, there fast AF!!
I’m def a cooper fan. I think he’s doing great. Keep it up man. U gotta a fun job & you’ll get to see some cool stuff
Congrats Jace on the new ride. Chad Fab mode: "The heart wants what the heart wants. Just remember, what you want, may not be what you need." 😊
I would have been mad about them driving the roller on my new concrete. Jace has good taste in trucks and have a great shop to work out of he will have a hellcat something one day.

Congrats on the 'Pack Rat' You guys deserved that all the way! Lots of reports of engine failures on the Durango. Caution would be wise.
Yeah Jace,l drove a new Durango from Phoenix to ABQ,New Mexico. What A Ride.!! Great Car.!!!
Looks like a nice car, good on you Jace for having a vision and working to make it a reality.
Thats a Sweet Little CAT!!
Used to have a John Deere with the front end loader, box blade and rear mower deck.
Man I loved that tractor!!
It did everything I asked of it and more without blinking an eye!!
If tractors had eyes....
You own both those homes? Nice place Paul. Congrats on the win Paul 🎉🎉
The house beside the asphalt driveway is a neighbor.
Hey my black 4runner is rare.y dirty, I use maguire dry wash and wax on it as needed. Spray it on wipe it off, perfect black vehicle takes maybe 5 minute as
Oh man. It is always something if it has wheels. Congratulations on the OnX challenge 🎉🎉🎉
I have a Dodge problem as well. 73 Challenger, 2010 Charger R/T (great car), 2016 Charger R/T (total lemon too many issues to list), 2020 Durango R/T. Durango already has a blown motor mount at 57k. Do you think it’s related to the change in Dodges ownership? Your 2010 is a real dodge, the newer ones are either fiat or sellantis.
Whenever Coop takes a ride. he looks like a kid in a new wagon......😊
I don't think he's gonna like a Durango,I've heard nothing but bad things about those. Thanks for the video guy's and CONGRATS ON THE ON X WIN PAUL AND CHAD. 👏
Make for great content on future videos
Hes in the best situation for something like that. He has all the tools and resources to fix any issues that may arise and create a great vehicle that will last a long time. All vehicles can be great if the common issues are fixed early.
Ive had 3 durangos. They were good for me. Not the 2004 and up till the new ones came out though.
Are the Durangos the ones that couldn't hold up to police use? Plastic oil coolers led to engine failures
One of these days I want to see Paul's boys give him a big hug for all the stuff that he's taught them and will continue to teach him. Not just mechanical but life in general.

Paul saying he's a dealer, and the editor putting PCP in the subtitle instead of PVC 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Don't let em get to ya Jase. I also have a Dodge problem. I've got four of them my whole driveway is Dodge. My mom owns one and so do both of my sons. When everyone is over there all over the place!😂
"We're done until Jase trades this off for something else" 🤣

Winter will be so much easier this year thanks to all the paving and concrete
And then no dust in the summer time 👍👍🇦🇺
Jace the car dealer. Buy em fix em sell em.
My ex was that way. I never knew what car I was going to be driving. I loved the '56 Ford Sunliner convertible but it went the way of the rest. I never did get my dream car tho which was a '57 Chevy🙂.
Paul: "We shifted the tranny 3 inches back because we don't wanna pull it."
Paul, 5 seconds later: "So we pulled the tranny..." 😁😁😁
Winter there, Now coming into summer here in Australia
That driveway is going to be so much cleaner on your equipment. You're going to love it.
I’ve had four black cars in my life and they are only clean until you back them off of the wash rack! Beautiful but labor intensive!
Sure happy for y'all over your onx win.
this episode would be rough for the FabRats drinking game... a shot for every time Paul says "tranny" 🤣🥃
A shot of Paul's choice in adult beverages, Captain Morgan, no less.
Drink everytime one of them says, "bolded" instead of bolted.
Jace has good taste😂 I've had a few chargers, my last one was a 2018 RT SPORT PLUS.
Always put 3/4 crush rock behind retaining walls. Always. So many ppl screw up by packing dirt behind retaining walls
Gotta give the water a drain route. 👍
You know you made it when you have an asphalt driveway in the country. I didn't one of those until I was in my 40's.
You got a well deserved win Paul 🏆
Hey Paul, great videos and also CONGRATULATIONS on the OnX offroad Willy’s win !!!! How come we rarely see the Tacoma anymore, first time I saw you was on Matt’s channel wheeling the Taco…I’m guessing about 3-4 years ago, been hooked on Fabrats since !!
Stem wall implies it is supporting a vertical load (building something on it)
What you have there is a retaining wall (supporting a change in grade)
First time commenter long time viewer 😆. I love starting the morning with some coffee and the FabRats🐀. I just want to say, I have a feeling Jace is going to move up to not a Durango but a Viper. Durango's are great sleepers no problem with that at all. Peace huys.
Hi Paul an team keep up with the good work love watching your videos on TH-cam God bless
exactly how I would have wanted it, I hate mud and gravel. Huge investment from the road to the shop for sure.
"We're gonna hurry and..." Reckon that's the Utah equivalent of "We're fixin' to.." Thanks for the video.

Great job on the MOPAR! LOL!! It looks good too! Good luck on your journey to the Dodge Durango!

I’m not a dodge fan boy but my 14 year old Ram 3500 is holding up well. The interior is in great shape.
Obama did give them to Fiat.
I drive a 97 ram truck and the passenger side visor clip broke about a year ago 😮
I'm not a Dodge guy either but I can still work on the pre 2000 models.
You don't know shit! Chevy sucks ass!
A friend of mine who owned a late '90s Dodge diesel, said the only wrong with the pickup was the vehicle they wrapped around the motor!
Damn!!!
You could play roller skate hockey with all that concrete!!!
Dodge is the newest spelling for the word JUNK!!!
I thought the new, exuberantly post modern, JaGUar took the crown. in that category.
Good morning fabrats. I would love to have a nice hot cup of coffee or tea with all of you in the morning. All I see you guys drinking is soda in the a.m. That's just weird. I'll be stopping by with a big fat pot of Coffee for everybody in the a.m.. ❤

A Hemi powered RWD sedan. The perfect car to buy right before winter in the mountains!
They do surprisingly well. At least my 07 did. It was supposed to be a fair weather car, but the GF at the time didn't want to ride in my Ramcharger from NY to AC on New Years Eve.
Thanks for the video of precious moments. Bad ass Jace!
Thank you guys
Well done Jase
"Dodged' a bullet. We see what you did there Paul.
Nice looking ride Jace. Be Very cautious the winter, so it'll be straight paneled come spring. Those aren't known as snowmobiles.
Like father like son,if you grunt when you work,it means you’re doin it right lol 😂😂❤
I love how your are soo confident, how things are going to go so easy! But hardly goes your way 😂. Still love your channel!
Congrats for the win at SEMA
Thanks for the video guys. Can't wait to have a chance to get that Willy's that is my dream vehicle
On those Dodge charger and Chrysler 300 they have a carrier bearing. If it goes out buy the one they comes in 2 pieces. Dont get the one piece one. I'm with Jace - I love my MOPARS! Durango here we come Jace!!
Black, yup, I've had five of them and as the ol saying goes: Black is the prettiest color on the road until you back it out of the garage. Enjoy
U go Paul Fab Rars #1 3:46
Paul time for another lift. And put that one outside on the end.
Nice dad assistance Jace...good lookin car.
Grandma Lollie looks happy to see paving...
Jace is taking care of business
Thanx for sharing this Great Content 👍
Getting awfully fancy with that pavement. 😊 thanks for the great content.
Nothing wrong with getting the Mopar fever!! you go Jace!
On of my Daughters got one of those. It was a old cop car. Poor car don't get a break.
Way to motivate the son, work your way up to what you want by buying and fixing broken cars, and it's good content.
Was waiting for the video🤘🏼💪🏼🦅🇺🇸
Paul, I owned a 69 Chrysler Newport Custom with a 383. BAD ASS BOMBER 🚔
😀love the seatbelts good job.
Nice work guys. I like Mopar. I've never had a Durango but I've known several people who have and they don't have a great track record. Always broke.
Awesome Durango
Not to be that guy but, not having the crushed stone up to the same level as the concrete is a trip hazard and will surely cause people to roll their ankle if they are not watching their step. This is right where people will tend to gather when at the shack.
